Mendeleev

Mendeleev is best known for his work on the periodic table; arranging the 63 known elements into a Periodic Table based on atomic mass, which he published in Principles of Chemistry in 1869. Dmitri Mendeleev was born at Tobolsk, Siberia in 1834 and died in 1907.

Mendeleev adds all kinds of information on top of the information provided by Blizzard to almost all item tooltips.

This addon is licensed under the creative commons license, read license.html for more information.

I can see (for example, in the AH) what's for sale at merchants, but it would be helpful (and my old addon did it) if it could also say sold by Joe Blow at Chillwind Camp or whatever. Just a suggestion, I'll still be using Mendeleev even if it doesn't ever contain this.

The error: Error: Interface\AddOns\Mendeleev\Mendeleev.lua:211: attempt to compare string with number occurs only if I am also using Fubar RestFu. For some reason, the database that the code around line 211 is iterating through is getting some bad entries in it when RestFu is running. I looked at the bad data and, rather than legal entries it expects like: 1, gatherskilldisenchant it's getting some illegal entries that are: time, 0 mem, 0 elapsed, 0 count, 1 A quick search shows these variables are used in metrognome which Fubar RestFu uses.
