Mendeleev is best known for his work on the periodic table; arranging the 63 known elements into a Periodic Table based on atomic mass, which he published in Principles of Chemistry in 1869. Dmitri Mendeleev was born at Tobolsk, Siberia in 1834 and died in 1907.

Mendeleev adds all kinds of information on top of the information provided by Blizzard to almost all item tooltips.

This addon is licensed under the creative commons license, read license.html for more information.

Drive-by post to say thank you for a kick ass addon. I was using the 'other' reagent data addon, but it slowed my PC to a crawl when I decided to browse every single reagent my bank alt had on him at the time. ended doing a hot reboot

This was quick, used far fewer resources, and had more info available to boot. You rock!

I'm pretty stumped on this one: How do you turn on stuff like "Zul'Gurub Enchants" and "Zul'Gurub Classes" ....? I can toggle on and off all of the categories that are a single word with no spaces in 'em, but... Any of the categories with a space in them don't seem to toggle.

Mendeleev has a command line configuration.

to see what categories can be switched and their states do /mend report or /mendeleev report

To toggle one of those on or off do /mend toggle (categoryname)

those addons most likely still need pt in its seperate state
if pt is updated there will be a version you can put into your addon dir like a regular addon, the system is designed that it will overwrite the information in my version by default if that happens.

hmmm, looks like some bug slipped into this version
will look into it.

Two questions:

1) ItemID doesn't seem to be working for me when I turn it on and off?

2) I noticed that in removing the dependency upon PeriodicTable that it was just added to the Mendeleev folder. Which does it default to? I have other addons using PT, If PT is installed already, will it use those values instead or those included in the folder?

I only ask for the reason that should a newer update of PT become available, what do I do?

I've been getting a ton of these lately when mousing over buttons of various types (inventory, spells, etc.):

"Error: Interface\AddOns\Mendeleev\Mendeleev.lua:198: attempt to compare string with number"

I'm guessing another add-on isn't playing well. Any ideas?

Sigh..... obviously some of us want to have all the info we can in one add on. But one of my concern is screen space. With the new Mendeleev , Adspace ( i would still need it for Vendor Location which i notice is not included in your screenshot ), and BookEnchant.

Now add all this with Auctioneer Tooltips you can see how the whole things become extremely large.

I only wish you can have tabs in tooltips like you do in ChatBox. At least i can switch to that tab when i need the specfic information.
