PerfectRaid  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: v50001-1.0.0
by: Cladhaire [More]
PerfectRaid is a whole new look on raid frames, giving you as much information as possible in an easily recognizable format that's easy to place. Show as much or as little as you're interested in, and completely customize using the each options editor.

Use /praid to open the configuration GUI.
  1. A preliminary frame editor is in game. It can be kind of complex at the moment, but it comes with a nice set of defaults for you to use.
  2. Added a pre-made buff dropdown to the buff editor screen

Awesome, can't wait.

Is there anything people with some developer-Fu but no AddOn-fu can do to help? Debugging, testing, anything like that?

As I've already stated. You can have groups of the following:

1. A llst of names to include
2. A combination of GROUPS and CLASSES to include

Thats it.. If the groups are seperate and draggable like we've discussed, you have these limitations. If we stack the frames together in a certain order, you STILL have these limitations.

You will be able to sort by
1. Group, where you specify the order
2. Name where you specify the names
3. Class where you specify the order.
4. Sort by groups, then by class.
5. Sort by class, then by groups

Thats really it.

One of the reasons I love your mod so much is it's simplicity- just a single vertical list. Is this still going to be possible? I'd hate to have to resort to multiple lists to get what I used to have. Perhaps I'm just imagining things differently than they'll actually be... It sounds like I may be able to do things like I used to, just with different frames. If that's the case, could I make a small request that there be some way to line up the frames precisely, perhaps something like snapping together?

In either case, I just wanted to say thank you again for all the hard work you've put into this mod. It's so perfectly clean, concise, and just simply usable, nothing out there compares.

1. One large column, either sorted by NAME or CLASS
2. Freestanding frames which contain any combination of frame, class or name that you want. For example, you can have a freestanding "Priest,Druid,Paladin,Shaman" frame to show your healers, and still have 8 frames for all the raid groups. You can put someone in multiple groups using the filters, and then place the frames where you'd like them to be.

first of all, thanks for updating the best raidframe addon out there.

as a healer it would be very nice if it would be possible to sort the raidframes by groups as it was in the previous versions.

p.s. sorry for my bad english, but its not my mother tongue.

Those are in the OLD version. In case you didn't notice, that doesn't work with 2.0 anymore. However, that was not listed as a way to sort the monitor in the NEW, in-progress, 2.0-compatible version. That is:

I echo what everybody else is saying here. Clad you did an outstanding job with PerfectRaid, I use nothing else. Simple, clean, with a small footprint leaving most of the screen free. Excellent job and I'm looking forward to an update.

As so many others I am too looking forward for PRaid to get updated to 2.0.

I found PRaid by accident long ago and immediately switched to it from using CTRA raid frames.
Then 2.0 hit and I had to look around for other addons; I am amazed at how few other worth-while alternatives are out there, and nothing compares with the outstanding simplicity and read-ability of PRaid.
Thumbs up, Cladhaire, my whole guild is anxiously awaiting your great addon

Grid is installed so far, but ...
