PerfectRaid  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: v50001-1.0.0
by: Cladhaire [More]
PerfectRaid is a whole new look on raid frames, giving you as much information as possible in an easily recognizable format that's easy to place. Show as much or as little as you're interested in, and completely customize using the each options editor.

Use /praid to open the configuration GUI.
  1. A preliminary frame editor is in game. It can be kind of complex at the moment, but it comes with a nice set of defaults for you to use.
  2. Added a pre-made buff dropdown to the buff editor screen

Hi this is for Aznamir really but im wondering how to actually apply the fix you have linked in this post, is it possible to give me a walkthrough if its not to time consuming for you, but ofc if its a complicated procedure i will just wait for the author of the addon to update and be patient

Probably because of this:

"UNIT_MANA, UNIT_ENERGY, UNIT_RAGE, UNIT_RUNIC_POWER, UNIT_FOCUS and UNIT_HAPPINESS events, as well as their UNIT_MAX* counterparts, no longer fire. UNIT_POWER and UNIT_MAXPOWER may be used instead. "

I made a fix myself and it seems to work:

It works correctly for me. Could you ensure you've properly unpacked and installed Praid?

hello having a problem with the raid icons there's an option to place within the health bar in various areas this feature doesn't seem to be working, but everything else is just fine, thanks.

This doesn't make a separate frame.

Basically I display all 8 groups.

Say I'm promoted to main tank in group 1 in a 25 man raid.

With all 8 groups and main tanks selected.. I'll have a full column of 25 people (5 sets of 5).

If I turn off group 1, but keep the main tank option selected.. I'll have a column of 21 people. In the group 1 spot ONLY myself will be listed.

That's the option I was looking at when I said I hadn't played around with it yet.

FYI, you may want to remove the paladin buffs from PerfectRaid_Buffs.lua as most of them do not exists anymore - blessing of light, sanctuary, salvation and maybe change Blessing of Wisdom to Might for mana classes.

Also, it is much easier to get localized spell names using GetSpellInfo(spellID).

Asrial, I think you can do that already?

Under the Raid Frames config click Add. There is a checkbox in there for Main Tanks so you can make another frame just for them.

Downside is that you'll still have the tanks in the regular main frame as well.

Does that make sense? [/b]

Not sure if it's just my version or not.

I do have a feature request, but I've not played around with the settings too much to see if I can reproduce it.

I use Perfect Raid combined with the Blizzard "tank" window. However, they changed the way it looks and I don't think I can use it the way I want anymore.

If you're not familiar with it.. the tank window is just a little Blizzard window you can move around that shows people promoted to "main tank" status in the raid options.

I'd love to have my main raid column (I set it to 2 max columns with 25 in each column) and then a second customizable column that's just the tanks.

Basically, I want to be able to have two separate Perfect Raid frames going on at the same time.

Does that make sense?

The events are super straightforward. I think the easiest way to implement is is a second status bar anchored to the same box as the healthbar, but extending say 20px to the right of the health bar. It should be one frame level below the healthbar so they layer properly, but we should be able to get something going. If you can even just get me started, I can probably toss the rest together.
