PerfectRaid  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v50001-1.0.0
by: Cladhaire [More]

PerfectRaid is a whole new look on raid frames, giving you as much information as possible in an easily recognizable format that's easy to place. Show as much or as little as you're interested in, and completely customize using the each options editor.

Use /praid to open the configuration GUI.

  1. A preliminary frame editor is in game. It can be kind of complex at the moment, but it comes with a nice set of defaults for you to use.
  2. Added a pre-made buff dropdown to the buff editor screen

I really like this raid interface the last two versions of it have cleaned up a lot of the issues. One thing I am missing is the mouse overs. If I moused over the CT Raid windows it would tell me if a warlock was in cooldown on their soul stone or if a druid was in cooldown for their rebirth ect ect. Any plans to add that fuctionality into this addon?

Thumbs up Awesome

Thanks for the great mod. I just updated from the 0.5.x series to the 0.7.5 release. Seems to have fixed a couple bugs related to group display, and the mana bar addition is great.

What would you suggest as a good MT target mod to pair with Perfect? The only thing I am really missing from CT raid is the MT targets...

In the current version you can choose to show any of the paladin blessings, but this way I have to show BoM and BoW at the same time and this adds to an already crowded screen. A extra setting for a combined BoM and BoW blessing will be greatly appreciated if possible.

Thank you for a great mod,
Theo
I will not be making a change of this scope in the current version, again you could always submit a diff. The burning crusade version specifically lets you set these options, i.e.

Blessing of Might on melee classes only
Blessing of Wisdom on mana users only.

Is there an option to display when somebody is AFK? Dead and offline are there, but the only thing for me having to keep XRaidStatus on is the AFK display.

Brief request: can be changed the localization file making rejuvenation shows as "Rej", regrowth as "Rg" and renew as just "R"... helps a lot

i manually edit it at every release, but becomes boring after 8 updates

Paladin buffs

Some time ago a paladin wanted an indicator for when BoM or BoW is active. I am doing also BoM on melee and BoW on casters in a RAID so I added this to PRaid along other small changes. Because I don't want to change the mod every time a new version is released, I am hoping it can be added in the "official" release.

What I did is simple:
I added a new Buff (I called it BoMorW). In the UpdateStatus function I set the new buff to show when BoM OR BoW is active. Now, I can just uncheck BoM and BoW in the show buffs settings and check the new one.

If you find it useful, I can send you my code.

Thank you,
Theo, a paladin on Eonar

PS: other small changes I do every time is shorten the names of the buffs and show group numbers at the end (instead of 3-Theodorus [ ], Theodorus-3 [ ] looks more appealing to me)

Re: Group numbers

Not exactly like that.. there is a configuration option to show the group number next to the name.

/praid config has all the options, btw.

Group numbers

Is there a way to configure so that within the healthbars or next to the names to display the group that they are in? Or have it setup like something below

grp1
abc ----------
def ----------
grp2
ghi ---------
jkl ----------
grp 3
asd --------
asd --------

Ok, let's post this here then

Here my question with PerfectRaid, would it be difficult to add a functionnality to change the display, like make it show in 1X40 (as it is now), 4X10 or 8X5? Or a 3X3X3 box with one box per class?
Heh, lern2read forums.

So for example, the current setup is like warriors, then priests, then druids etc.. is it possible to change the order of this? So like warriors then rogues then mages etc.
