PerfectRaid  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: v50001-1.0.0
by: Cladhaire [More]
PerfectRaid is a whole new look on raid frames, giving you as much information as possible in an easily recognizable format that's easy to place. Show as much or as little as you're interested in, and completely customize using the each options editor.

Use /praid to open the configuration GUI.
  1. A preliminary frame editor is in game. It can be kind of complex at the moment, but it comes with a nice set of defaults for you to use.
  2. Added a pre-made buff dropdown to the buff editor screen

Per characters settings are the next version, and range checking will be pulled out of the core app, and be more reliable overall.

Thanks.

I found perfect raid through a post in the discord forums. I like it very much! My compliments on making healer screens less cluttered.

Couple of comments:

As was said, I'm eagerly awaiting on being able to lock the bars.
Also, when using the rangecheck feature (since we have been wiping, errr, going through Naxx), at a raid wipe the whole column becomes transparent (like the whole raid is out of range)--even after everyone has ressed, and I've been buffing etc. It stays transparent until I turn off rangechecking.

Thank you for the responses! I figured that you'd have a locking mechanism planned...but it is nice to know for sure.

Also, looking back, I phrased my scaling quesion poorly. What I really wanted to know is if I could have the Perfect Raid frame scaled differently for different characters on my account? If I am running my Priest, I'd like the frame to be at about 1.2 scale. But if I am on my Warlock, I like the default scale just fine. Switching back and forth is simple enough; but I'd like to just set and forget, because I am laaaaazy.

So, to cut through all the crap, I am asking for per-character settings.

Thanks Again,
-Emi

1. You can read more about SVN by searching for "Subversion", its a version control system. The cutting edge development versions are there, but I update to wowinterface religiously. The svn versions aren't ready for consumption, that's why they're not posted yet =)

2. /praid lock may or may not exist at the moment, but its planned either way
3. There is no concept of groups or characters. You will not be able to individually scale anything.

I absolutely love this addon, thank you!

I have a few questions though.

2.) Is there a way to lock the panel into place? Or is that a planned piece of functionality?

3.) I'd like to be able to set the scale per character (really small for my non-healing characters and larger for my healers), is that a planned piece of functionality?

You will absolutely be able to hide offline members.

Just need to get the code cleaned up and reintroduce the options that were working on SVN as part of the rewrite =)
Icons are not necessary! Will class-specific filters be available (as for the magic debuffs etc.)? Can't wait.
