PerfectRaid is a whole new look on raid frames, giving you as much information as possible in an easily recognizable format that's easy to place. Show as much or as little as you're interested in, and completely customize using the each options editor.

Use /praid to open the configuration GUI.
  1. A preliminary frame editor is in game. It can be kind of complex at the moment, but it comes with a nice set of defaults for you to use.
  2. Added a pre-made buff dropdown to the buff editor screen

It's a possible idea but it kind of goes against the way PerfectRaid currently displays things. I need to sit down sometime soon and solidly figure out my plans for PerfectRaid, but I've been in over my head with stuff to get done so that has made it very difficult. For that, I apologize.

Suggestion

First of all, great mod -- I recommend it on all UI forums I frequent, and I'm a proud owner of the HWoW book

I just wanted to throw a suggestion out there, since I'm resto and knowing which hots are expiring are key to my role and healing experience.

I know it's been suggested before about having a number based timer for buffs, but would it be possible to [instead of having TIME & NUMBERS] have expiring buff initials to change COLOR? Possibly borrowing the idea from GridStatusLifebloom?

i have an annoying update issue with the frames, i hope you can fix it asap

for example when i join the arena it often puts my own name twice instead of mine+mypartners on the raidframe

Yes, there are very specific known issues that need to be worked through. I will try to get to them as soon I can.

A feature request, might have been proposed already.
But, would be nice to have the raidframes change to display party / raid / whatever pets when taking control of something that prevents interacting with the "main" character, a feature that the Blizzard default raidframes have.

Mainly meaning fight with Malygos, where in p3 everyone takes the control of a drake. PRaid still shows the HP of the main character, making it impossible to use it in healing. Same would apply to Oculus and the drakes, but I don't use PRaid for partyframes, Pitbull takes care of that.

Change teh code, see the HOWTO linked and in my forums

Configure a frame set to show the main tanks.

Just wanted to update you on this one. It's a bit inconsistent, so let me tell you what I know:

Battle for Undercity - When the temp buff fades at the end of the event (which is a quest turn-in that teleports you), PR reports you as damaged.

Sholazar - daily quest where you ride a big gorilla-thing and kill 50 big-tongues - When you dismount from the 50k HP gorilla, PR properly reports your original max health.

.. That's it. I've seen it be goofy on other occasions, but I only started paying attention after Battle for UC.

This is not an error with PerfectRaid so there's nothing I can do to fix it. It's currently an error in the secure templates that Blizzard created (that I use) so we must wait for them to fix it in an upcoming patch.

As far as I'm aware this doesn't break anything, but it sucks that this happens :P

If I'm in combat when I get invited to join a party and then I accept, I get the following error (the only addon loaded is Perfectraid-r185):

Interface\FrameXML\SecureHandlers.lua:511: Cannot use SecureHandlers API during combat

Currently no, it only supports the single/group versions of spells. I can look into supporting it, but I don't like making large changes like that to Clique since so many people rely on it.
