PerfectRaid  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: v50001-1.0.0
by: Cladhaire [More]
PerfectRaid is a whole new look on raid frames, giving you as much information as possible in an easily recognizable format that's easy to place. Show as much or as little as you're interested in, and completely customize using the each options editor.

Use /praid to open the configuration GUI.
  1. A preliminary frame editor is in game. It can be kind of complex at the moment, but it comes with a nice set of defaults for you to use.
  2. Added a pre-made buff dropdown to the buff editor screen

Yes, there's definitely a bug.. since all filters are now additive, they must all be fulfilled in order for a buff to "pass" the check. I'll try to find a way around this that's a bit more flexible.. Sorry for the problem.

This has to do with the blessings as a paladin, I do not know if other classes have this problem with their buffs. Basically the system of filters to show or hide people who need buffs doesn't work anymore. I may choose to hide a buff for all, for exemple blessing of might, but the frames will still show me that all people need might. Or if I click might for one class, say the hunters, it will show that all classes need might except the hunters. but if then I disable the might filter, then all classes, including hunters, will be shown as needing it.

I tried to search if I didn't miss something, if this was a new behaviour and the mod should be configured otherwise but I can't find anything like that. Also I sorry I can't give more details on how the problem works but it seems so random I have a hard time finding a pattern.

I'm back to using r129, which works just fine for me: click on a class to have the icon show if they need a buff, give them the buff and it disapears. I tried to load r130 alone and with a clean configuration but the problem still happened. Other than the paladin buff filters nothing else seemed to be broken.

I saw no one mentionning that problem so I wonder if I am the only one or if it only affects paladins (and then I would be the only one posting). Thanks for reading and keep up the good work.
There's no difference between the Paladin and the rest of the buffs, but I did make a rather large change to the buff filter logic that may have caused a bug to creep in. I'll hop on my Paladin and test this out to see what I get.

Thanks for the report.

Edit: While I'm here, can I apply this kind of profiling management on your other addons, like:
Code:
/script TomTom.db:SetProfile("Common Profile")
In TomTom you can use the /tomtom profile command directly, iirc.. but yes.. you can do this as well.

Actually yes, but right now its a manual process. I'd suggest doing the following:

On the character you want to use to initially set up the settings, do this:

/script PerfectRaid.db:SetProfile("Common Profile")

This sets the character to use the "Common Profile" settings, which you can then customize. Now on any other character that you want to use these settings, run the same command. Each of these characters will use the common profile and changes to one will change all of the others using the same profile.

Alternatively you can use CopyProfile() which is a one-time copy, but everyone will retain their own "profile". For example:

/script PerfectRaid.db:SetProfile(UnitName() .. " - " .. GetRealmName())
/script PerfectRaid.db:CopyProfile("Common Profile")

Let me know if that works okay.

The template supports them, yes. It would be the same release, if and when.

Perhaps divide them based on the presence of a rage bar?
No, unfortunately.. You'd have to set the frames up by name, which is something I plan to add in the future.

Please let me know how you progress! I've been meaning to remove the right box for some time now.

Also, Clad, could you consider adding an option to show unit tooltips at mouseover? Just like when you mouseover any other unit in the default UI. Would be neat.
