PerfectRaid  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v50001-1.0.0
by: Cladhaire [More]

PerfectRaid is a whole new look on raid frames, giving you as much information as possible in an easily recognizable format that's easy to place. Show as much or as little as you're interested in, and completely customize using the each options editor.

Use /praid to open the configuration GUI.

  1. A preliminary frame editor is in game. It can be kind of complex at the moment, but it comes with a nice set of defaults for you to use.
  2. Added a pre-made buff dropdown to the buff editor screen

Please post in the forums for further discussion:

Edit: One more thing.. I'm not sure what your plans of updating looks like, but something that would be nice would the ability to export the "templates" and, ideally, the frame positions to other characters.
The highlighting covers the entirety of the frame, which includes the space for buffs, so no. /praid lock will lock the frames in position. Yes, at some point you'll be able to easily copy setups between characters.

However I wanted to know if I was possible to say, create you own group. What I mean is if I wanted to have specified tanks shown in their own group, is there anyway I could set this up without having to put all of tanks in the same group using the wow raid interface.

This would be nice because sometime we have healing assignments would be nice to separate those members from the rest of the raid or have them at the top.

is there any way to do this?
Not by name.. but you can create any frames youd' like using the config GUI.

Open it by typing /praid, you'll want to look at the Raid Frames tab.

Awesome job, and I hope you keep updating it.
Thanks for the kind words.

PerfectRaid.lua:62

Current code:
Code:
highlight = {
	mouseover = true,
	curse = (class == "DRUID" or class == "MAGE"),
	disease = (class == "PRIEST" or class == "PALADIN" or class == "SHAMAN"),
	magic = (class == "PRIEST" or class == "PALADIN"),
	poison = (class == "DRUID" or class == "PALADIN" or class == "SHAMAN"),
},
If you want to disable ALL highlights:

Code:
highlight = {
	mouseover = false,
	curse = false,
	disease = false,
	magic = false,
	poison = false,
},
If you want to disable ONLY the mouseover highlight, change just the mouseover value.

I have been having 1 small issue with Perfectraid for awhile now and I was wondering if you could help me out a bit It seems that mouseover highlight dosen't wish to save, I was wonder if maybe I could hardcode it to stay off? So I don't have to turn it off in the gui every time I wish to use it hehe.

Thank you for your time and I really love Perfectraid Cladhaire, keep up the good work!

Hrm..

Open /praid
go to raid frames
edit the raid frames you have defined
and set a mana bar height (just change it, and then put it back to whatever value it already was).

See if that fixes it. Otherwise, you can reset your saved variables using /run PerfectRaidDB = {}

With respect to 'unknown' showing up...

'Unknown' tends to show up in a few mods now. I'm not exactly sure, but I think it is due to a reclassification of certain pets in the last patch. Maybe a sacrificed pet? Maybe a Felguard (I think they were recently reclassified as warriors)?

The OP with this problem should mention who he runs with in Arena, maybe that will help Cladhaire with reproducing it.
