PerfectRaid  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: v50001-1.0.0
by: Cladhaire [More]
PerfectRaid is a whole new look on raid frames, giving you as much information as possible in an easily recognizable format that's easy to place. Show as much or as little as you're interested in, and completely customize using the each options editor.

Use /praid to open the configuration GUI.
  1. A preliminary frame editor is in game. It can be kind of complex at the moment, but it comes with a nice set of defaults for you to use.
  2. Added a pre-made buff dropdown to the buff editor screen

Pauses and a Request

I'm experiencing what I believe someone else mentioned below.
The game clicks and pauses everytime a person joins the raid or a raid member is moved within the raid. I know there was a comment on CTRaid that they did something to get rid of the Blizzard induced click. Not sure if they were able to fix the pauses though.

Also, this is by far the best raid unit frame available, bar none.
I'm just waiting on the ability to put them back in a single column sorted by class, with tanks on the bottom and priests right above them.

Hopefully the order when sorted by class will be an option when all is said and done.
Casters/Hunters/Rogues
Druid/Shaman/Pally
Priests
Warriors

Thanks again for a great mod.

Are you on a non english client? Perfectraid isn't fully localised yet.

Thanks so much Cladhaire. The way you did buffs this time is great. Looking forward for a way to change the layout whenever you get the free time to release it =)

Thanks again!

I'm looking into ways to clean this up, but some of it is just a result of the templates.

the way it works on a german client:

ich hab das mal aus unserem gildenforum kopiert.

beste addon ever wieder da. aber nur als beta und man muss tricksen damit das auch auf nem deutschen client einwandfrei läuftläuft.

perfect raid beta runterladen und in den interface ordner kopieren.

http://www.axelbecker.de/Localization.deDE.lua
diese lua datei in den perfectraid ordner kopieren

dann die datei perfectraid.toc mit einem editor öffnen. den eintrag Localization.frFR suchen und einfach die endung in Localization.deDE umändern.

fertig

I guess the problem has to do with using the german client. I created a localization file for deDE. It is used correctly (as can be seen inside the buffs/debuffs settings). But that didn't affect the problem with the range check.
This is probably because of your localization because i believe it uses specific spell names depending on the class to determine the range as seen in PerfectRaid_Range.lua. Works fine with english

OK Clad,

Thank you for the very hard work.

The buff system is very cool and so customizable. I am looking forward to learning more about it. The reset of the PerfectRaidDB fixed any bugs that I was having. I am a Warlock so I really don't have many buffs to look at.

I really want the colored health bars by class but other than that all I can say is HOLY FREAKING COW! Awesome job, and already I am noticing a huge difference in my UI.

Thanks again.

Regards

Re: Re: Range fade.

At first, thank you for the great work you have done with this addon. It's by far the best raid frames. Together with clique it's just awesome.
