PerfectRaid  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: v50001-1.0.0
by: Cladhaire [More]
PerfectRaid is a whole new look on raid frames, giving you as much information as possible in an easily recognizable format that's easy to place. Show as much or as little as you're interested in, and completely customize using the each options editor.

Use /praid to open the configuration GUI.
  1. A preliminary frame editor is in game. It can be kind of complex at the moment, but it comes with a nice set of defaults for you to use.
  2. Added a pre-made buff dropdown to the buff editor screen

Exactly that. I am hoping to request a feature at which we can change several aspects of the visual layout, such as what is discussed in this thread, through the gui interface in-game.

Key feature requests for options in the gui interface would include:
  • Changing width and height
  • Putting the player name within the box
  • Ability to toggle off coloring of the name by class colors
    • including changing the color of the name if name colored by class is toggled off
  • Ability to display class roles (Tank, Healer, DPS) next to the name, example:
    • 1(T) - Bigboy
    • 1(H) - Biggirl
    • 1(D) - Bigbaby
    • Additionally, the ability to filter this feature by only showing role abbreviation for Tanks, or Healers, or DPS, or any combination thereof -- perhaps check boxes might work?

Hopefully such a feature can be implemented. I'd rather use perfect raid for clique vs the in-game raid bars....Let me know if you need me to clarify further.

Thanks

Add to options?!

Is there anyway that this can be implemented into the options?

It's sort of a hassle to do this every time we update.
http://www.wowinterface.com/forums/s...ad.php?t=11460

Is it also possible to add class roles to the name? i.e.

1 - (T)Bigboy
1 - (H)Biggirl
1 - (D)Bigbaby

As a quick stop-gap, you can do the following: Open PerfectRaid_Buffs.lua.

There are two lines in UNIT_AURA that say this:

buffcache[name] = (buffcache[name] or 0) + 1

Change each of them to say:

buffcache[name] = (buffcache[name] or 0) + count

This will make it so it shows the stacks of anything that is stacked. This won't work well with things that are flagged 'onlymine'. If I can find time, I'll see if I can come up with something that is more permanent.

Debuff stacks

Hello there,

First of all, thanks for the ossum addon, i've been using it for quite some time now, trying to prove them Grid & VuhDo worshippers that other mods can be just as efficient.

That said, i've ran into some trouble with the addon and the latest raid tier.

Is there a way (most probably is, just don't know how ) to get the add-on to show how many stacks of a debuff a player has on him. Similar to the way it shows if someone has two different renews on them for example.

I really need this feature for the Yor'sahj encounter for the Deep Corruption ability.

Nope

That's where I have went to and got it done in the past - I even downloaded Scite to see if that helped

I guess the code changes just don't match up anymore.

Ill keep playing with it

Thanks anyway

I dont have anything off the top of my head, but basically you want to anchor the name fontstring inside the 'middle' or 'center' box, rather than in the 'left' box.

Smile Names in Frame

Hi Clad

Love the mod been using since the beginning only problem is this update. I am trying to get the names inside the bars going by the older posts in your How to, I just cant seem to find the correct place to make the changes.

Could you please point me in the right direction? I have done it numerous times previously just seems harder to find this time

Thanks

I've never changed any of those settings, personally.
