PerfectRaid  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v50001-1.0.0
by: Cladhaire [More]

PerfectRaid is a whole new look on raid frames, giving you as much information as possible in an easily recognizable format that's easy to place. Show as much or as little as you're interested in, and completely customize using the each options editor.

Use /praid to open the configuration GUI.

  1. A preliminary frame editor is in game. It can be kind of complex at the moment, but it comes with a nice set of defaults for you to use.
  2. Added a pre-made buff dropdown to the buff editor screen

Which anchor? If you align to bottom, then the columns absolutely grow up, as expected.

Yes, I will try to get some of these goodies implemented some time this week. I'm very very very very low on time at the moment, but I'm more than happy to accept modules or patches for this sort of thing.

Hey Clad,

Our guild was able to use PRaid in BWL tonight.

It worked great, I really like the multiple arrangements you can make, you have definitely solved the problem of being to place groups anywhere on the screen.

I am not a healer just a DPS caster and really just like having the one column. My question is about the sorting of the one column. I am wondering if we will be able to show the group numbers of the players as you had on prior versions. I sort by class because I actually give out DKP for my guild and it makes my system a little easier. Knowing which group people are in helps me to know where to place my imp for people to receive their buff. Call me crazy but I like to know where the groups are I guess.

Old PRaid

New PRaid

Thanks again for the great mod, and I look forward to seeing those mana bars again.

Stav

Hmm?

I love Praid as i always have but recenty due to the whole lot of small patches my Praid has an error somewhere in it.

I go play a Battleground and once it's finished i exit the Battlegroup but the Raid frames are still on screen when i was in a party of 2. It's confusing because i need to disabandon group and group up with my friend again.

Not sure if this has been posted :\

Prossibly. For right now, you can enable the mana bars by uncommenting the line that hides them.

Love the mod, have used it for a long while now.

One question; will this new incarnation of praid allow you to use it for the party frame or only for the raid frame? I would love to use praid as my default party frame as well.

Thanks again.

Unfortunately I have not received any errors at all.
I did however discover that by actually naming the group frame to something, that the updating from group to group actually occurs.
But I still have the updating problem in arenas and some Battlegrounds (Warsong Gultch).
It's working perfectly fine in normal groups now, though.

P.S: This is turning out to be a much funner addon than it previously was (If that's possible).
Thank you for all the effort you've put into this!

Sorry for being so vague.
Sounds like you probably received an error somewhere along the line, are you running an error catcher or anythign like it? I'll play with the arena at some point today. Thanks.

Yes, just set class color= false and severity coloring = true

The sorting by class is easy to fix, page back a few and its' got specific outlines for how to do it. To get them to 1 colomn however is a little trickier (you can't use the outlined method in the faq with group sorting), but the answer is there, just a little further back.
Download the latest version, and all becomes clear.

The bars were also obnoxiously colored the class colors and i rather liked them the green color. Is there anyway to change this?
