That would be because your tracking a reputation faction. Go into your reputation tab under character frame find a faction with a tick next to it and then deselect it.

I think I just found a small bug in Bongos2 with version 1.9.4... the Blizzard quest log doesn't show up with Bongos installed. I removed Bongos and it reappears... even tried installing bongos as the only mod and still no quest log. I probably wouldn't have even noticed except I was having problems with my quest tracker mod and just trying to simplify.

I just have tried out Bongos. I have always been leery of mucking about with my interface bars, but I must compliment you on the ease of use and design.

One thing though as the subject of the post states my XP bar displays rep instead of XP. Why would this be?

The French translation is completely ****ed up: accented characters not correctly shown (the file is probably not UTF-8), untranslated words/strings, texts larger than their frames/buttons, and some badly written words.

Slight bug.

With the new built in /stopcasting macros, if you spam a spell then it will cancel
the spell early then register with bongos 2 as being interrupted and will change the bar
colour to redand will continue to be red until you stop spamming.


also it might be nice if the cast bar would accommodate for lag similar to the functionality of rapid cast

This keeps bringing up a error for me. I thought it was because I did not have XP bap visable so made it visable and clicked it and now different error I will try again after work. I may have to resort to deleting files in wtf folder

1st - I love this addon - for good start

2nd - I didn't try 1.9.4 because I'm in work now but with version 1.9.3 I still had problem to make Bongos2 and CowTip work together well. Tooltips are flashing - one near action button anchored with CowTip and 2nd in standard blizzard tooltip location. I had this problem with bongos2 pre 2.3

Solution for that in my case was:
Bongos2_ActionBar\actionBar\button.lua
line 400
if GetCVar('UberTooltips') == '1' then

change into
if GetCVar('UberTooltips') ~= '1' then

After that I had to enabled "detailed tooltip" in wow interface


Can You please fix this issue in next version of bongos2 (or You did it in 1.9.4 - I'll try this today)

I was setting up my XP bar and now I have lost it onscreen is there anyway to just reset the XP bar settings as I don't want to upset my actionbars settings. Thanks in advance

To reproduce:
Obtain tradeskill (my case, cooking).
Place skill on hotbar.
Train up, learn next level (expert, artisan, etc).

is this version of bongos2 stable with the 2.3 patch? I am afraid to replace my older version (which seems to be working fine, so far...)

Found a big problem with Bongos. Essentially what happens, is if you're in combat you can't shift-up or down to an alternate actionbar. Which is VERY annoying when you're knocked off your mount while doing bombings, and you can't heal yourself and keep yourself alive....
