This is a quest-tracker replacement plugin for FuBar. It provides a tooltip which replicates /most/ of the information from the quest log. It can display (or not): quest level, difficulty, objectives, zones, and suchlike. It will put quest information into the tooltips for quest monsters and items. It will make quest levels appear when talking to NPCs.
If other people in your party are using QuestsFu it'll show you how many of each quest objective they've gathered.
If you want it to, and don't think it will annoy people, you can send a message to party chat when you advance a quest objective.
Shift-click on quests in the tooltip to copy the title to the chatbox if it's open.
Control+Shift-click on quests in the tooltip to copy their objectives and status to the chatbox if it's open.
Control-click on quests in the tooltip to share them with your party.
Alt-click on quests in the tooltip to add them to Blizzard's quest-tracker.
QuestsFu includes a replacement for the Blizzard built-in quest tracker, which can track more than 10 quests at a time. Right-click on it to adjust its scale and coloration. (Or alt-right-click if you've locked the tracker.)
Achievements show up in QuestsFu's tracker. Ain't that cool?
Certain thanks must be given to MonkeyQuest, which motivated me to write this by being everything that I wanted in a quest-tracker replacement while annoying me by putting a frame over a quarter of my screen.

3.1-beta2: A few tracker bugs, mostly.
3.1-beta: Make work with 3.1. Probably. I switched to a new version of the library that interacts with the quest log, and it's possible I missed something along the way.
2.0.65647: 2.4. Minor changes to level display.
2.0.55071:
Finally got bored of waiting for someone else to fix Tablet, and fixed it myself. Alt-clicking will allow you to interact with the locked tracker again.
Fixed the taint problem.
2.0.54738:
TOC updated for 2.3
Quest levels broke because of the new low-level stuff; fixed (and made more efficient -- I wrote that *ages* ago)
Fixed LightHeaded error when viewing a quest LightHeaded didn't know about.
2.0.52898:
Add new module PlayerNotify to run all player quest announcements through SinkLib, letting you choose where you want to output the text -- defaults to whatever scrolling combat text you're using.
PartyNotify and Announce now have slightly more detailed options for what to announce.
Change PartyNotify to use SinkLib.
zhCN localization by yhwh. Updated zhTW (helium and NightOwl), deDE (gamefaq), koKR (sayclub and next96).
Hopefully fixed a memory leak and reduced bandwidth use in groups.
2.0.49757:
Update for 2.2
Various localization updates and bugfixes
2.0.44273:
Add PartyLog module, which will display the quest log of a party member. (Somewhat rough around the edges still; disabled by default.)

Remove superfluous strings from some locales.
Update to deDE localization by gamefaq.

LightHeaded integration now properly displays rep gains and quest series.

2.0.38378:
You can now add the quest giver into the default blizzard quest log.

Update for 2.1.
Let sound type be chosen on a per-event basis (e.g. Peon for progress, Peasant for complete).

I just wanted to thank you Kemayo! i love this mod - i have replaced Uberquest with it and i'm happy as a clam. Especially with the progress announcements in chat. I used to have Quest Announce and really missed it and you have no idea how delighted i was to see that feature added here. Bravo! Thanks!
First thing, I love the mod, replaced MonkeyQuest with it and I'm not looking back. Second, is there any way to change the appearance? Meaning, can I change the colors and sizes of the dialogs and text? Sometimes the Quest Tracking dialog is too long and overlaps other things on my screen. Also it would be nice to be able to change the colors so I can choose some colors that are easier to see on my screen. Thanks!
Another nod to the developer here for the excellent work that's being done. The recent updates especially have really brought this addon forward in leaps and bounds and I'm really getting a lot of satisfaction from using this.
To those that have commented about the issue of the tracker appearing above other windows, I've had a similar problem but the latest update had a fix for this that worked for me.
Basically, right click on the tracker to bring up a menu. Go to the "strata" sub-menu. I forget the exact words used to describe the options presented in this sub-menu but the option you want to select is called something like "bottom" or "lowest".
Once you've done this, as a previous poster noted, you have to reload your interface to get the change to be picked-up. You can do this simply by typing "/console ReloadUI" by itself in the chatbox. The interface will then reload (this looks a bit like it does when hearthing/zoning/logging-in, you get the loading image with the progress-bar at the bottom of the screen) and once the interface has reloaded you should find the tracker appears behind the windows it was previously obstructing.
After you've set the "strata" once this way, it should remember the setting in future sessions, based on my experience so far.
Great addon, I really love the information it gives.
I would like to completely switch from Uberquest to this one, but I have to issues with the tracker: first, like many people said before, the tracker frame is ABOVE many other frames and it is hard to find a free place in the UI.
Second, is there a way to completely hide the tracker, without the need to uncheck all quests I'm tracking? If I uncheck "use own tracker" the Blizzard default tracker pops up, if I recheck "use own tracker" in QuestFu the Blizzard tracker is hidden again and the QuestFu tracker shows up. I use to hide the tracker if in raid or group and reenable it if I'm solo, in Uberquest there was an option to show/hide the quest tracker but this doesn't popup the Blizzard tracker.
BTW, I'm playing on german GUI, but I suspect this has nothing to do with localisation.
Originally posted by Eenami I'd also like to know if there's any way to put the tracker into the background. I see an options to adjust the "strata", but no matter what I set it to (even the lowest it can go) it still shows up over my bags when I open them.
You need to reload your user interface after changing that -- it's an annoying limitation of Tablet.
Originally posted by Kemayo You should be able to drag it by holding down the mouse button on it anywhere -- I'd recommend trying to drag on the text, just because then you can be certain it's really on the tracker.
...do you use a HUD addon, by the way?
I don't use a HUD addon and I was still unable to move the tracker with any alt + mouse button combination using the 2.0.26806 version.
I just downloaded the 2.0.26925 upgrade and I am now able to move the tracker with the alt + leftclick with no problems. The menu opens with a single rightclick but that now causes no problems with the tracker moved from centerscreen.
Thanks! I would still using this addon with the Blizzard tracker, but I prefer the flexibility of this tracker much better now.
I'd also like to know if there's any way to put the tracker into the background. I see an options to adjust the "strata", but no matter what I set it to (even the lowest it can go) it still shows up over my bags when I open them.
I agree with the comments about the tracker's Z-index being to high now. It's just not usable if it's going to cover up other things.
Also, could you add an option to the right-mouse menu to lock and unlock the tracker? It's not all that intuitive to have to shift and right click to bring up the menu. Someone could lock it and then not know how to unlock it.
Originally posted by Öhrli That's also bugging me.
Is there a way to put it back in the background?
Agreed, i cant find a place in my ui where it dosnt cause me some issues with the addon overlying other parts of my ui. would like to see it go back to a low strata or even better an option to adjust it myself
That not withstanding i still love this addon, great work man

Originally posted by Jaim Sandar I have "Use own tracker", but every once in a while the Blizzard tracker pops up and gets in the way. If I uncheck "Use own tracker", then the Blizzard tracker does show up, but disappears every once in a while.
The Auto track on Progress is not bringing up the tracker.
When killing a mob or looting something thats part of a quest, the tracker does not open up as it should, the quest is still tracked id the tracker is manually opened.
making awesome advances in questfu, getting better all the time.
I'm experiencing a bug but I'm not sure if it is questfu or a different fu causing it. it seems to be related to being in, inviting, or joining a party, but can happen when soloing too (I think)
Often I cant move my mouse down the left-click dropdown menus. right click seems to be ok.
lines will not highlight and it acts like my mouse is not there, except it does keep the dropdown open. Does not acknowledge alt+leftclick, or open the log when I click on an item.
affects all fubar mod left click dropdown options. To get it working again I have to /reload UI.
anyone have any idea, or can give me pointers on how to troubleshoot this to narrow down which mod could be at fault?
Problem started occuring at about version 2.0.25613
