OmniCC  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 10.2.5
by: jaliborc, Tuller

Overview
OmniCC is an addon that adds text to items, spell and abilities that are on cooldown to indicate when they will be ready to use. In other words: it turns all the standard analogue cooldowns into digital ones.

Anything should work with OmniCC, from the action bars to the inventory, from the standard interface to your favorite add-on.

I think if you open up OmniCC\effects\pulse.lua

and change the line

Code:
local PULSE_SCALE = 3
to

Code:
local PULSE_SCALE = 1
it seems to fix the problem for me..

kk... I' m experiencing it for a long time now, but was unable to post it before.
Now, that I've found that screenshot (I can't remember why I've made it, as it was in the January... *meh*), it is very illustrative.
There's actually 3 different cooldown text sizes (the "1h" for the BoM is smalled than the "57m" text on Gift) on the buttons that are of the same size (they're created in the same vertical SBF frame).

Well don't I feel like a noob.

Downloaded it. Had a really weird bug, couldn't catch a screenshot of it before it went away.

A giant inverted 2m showed up taking up like 1/4 of my screen.

Edit: http://i.imgur.com/546Th.jpg

Got a screenshot. That big red and yellow things, I think that's supposed to be a countdown number intended to be in one of the Icicle cooldown icons. This is with the classic setting to attempt to prevent crashes.

You need to download the beta, which is on another page :P

Oddly enough, the addon action blocked issue I had noticed in Dominos also has cropped up for OmniCC and i'm completely baffled.

["message"] = "[ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED] AddOn \"OmniCC\" tried to call the protected function \"CompactRaidFrame1:ClearAllPoints()\".",
["time"] = "2011/04/16 09:01:08",
["stack"] = "<in C code>\nFrameXML\\FlowContainer.lua:147: in function \"FlowContainer_DoLayout\"\nBlizzard_CompactRaidFrameContainer.lua:61: in function \"CompactRaidFrameContainer_OnSizeChanged\"\n<string>:\"*:OnSizeChanged\":1: in function <string>:\"*:OnSizeChanged\":1\n<in C code>\nOmniCC\\timer.lua:64: in function \"New\"\nOmniCC\\timer.lua:412: in function <OmniCC\\timer.lua:391>\n<in C code>\nFrameXML\\CompactUnitFrame.lua:675: in function \"CompactUnitFrame_UtilSetBuff\"\nFrameXML\\CompactUnitFrame.lua:520: in function \"CompactUnitFrame_UpdateBuffs\"\nFrameXML\\CompactUnitFrame.lua:347: in function \"CompactUnitFrame_UpdateAuras\"\nFrameXML\\CompactUnitFrame.lua:86: in function <FrameXML\\CompactUnitFrame.lua:47>",
["session"] = 118,
["counter"] = 1,

hmm I have no idea how to make that more readable );

An update to the beta has been released. You can now type /omnicc setengine <classic | animation> instead of the /run command. Odds are, a full release will follow shortly afterwards.

@catok:
nope.

Are there any way to make OmniCC not obey the alpha of the parent frame? I use Macaroon and have set abilities on cd to be 0.3 opaque. That is a value that enables me to quickly see what abilities are not usable. However, I would prefer if the timers were more visible.
