What is it? - A mod that adds your damage to SCT. It provides a way for you to see your damage in a static location. This can be useful against large mobs like those in MC, Bosses, etc...Can use SCT animations or its on built in style.

What can it do?

- Your Melee, Spell, Skill, Periodic, and Pet Damage
- Spell Damage/Resists and Damage Type (by color)
- Target and Spell ID's
- All "Miss" events (dodge, block, immune, etc...)
- Custom Colors for all text events and crits.
- Ability to show only target damage
- Four Fonts to choose from
- Can disable built in WoW damage
- Sliders for text size, fade speed, and on screen placement (with custom editbox)
- Localized to work in almost all WoW clients.

How do I use it? - First you must have SCT installed already. Next, unzip SCTD it into your interface\addons directory. For more info on installing, please read install.txt. Now just run WoW and once logged in, type /sctdmenu to get the options screen or you can click the SCTD button on the SCT options menu.

FAQ
How do I remove the damage the scrolls above my targets head? - WoW itself does this. You can turn it off by checking the the "Disable WoW Damage" option, or by going to the Advanced Options under Interface options.

My Wow Damage won't turn back on, even after I turn off SCTD! - You need to turn this back on manually in WoW. Go to Advanced Options under Interface options and you will see a checkbox to enable damage. Also, it is highly recommended you don't use the "Enable Wow Damage in PvP" option if you are on a PvP server.

My peridoic damage is not showing up in the combat log or on the screen! How do I fix it? - You have turned off periodic damage on the Advanced Options under Interface options. Make sure the "Periodic Damage" check box is checked, even if you have Damage unchecked.

I don't like friendly nameplates on. How do I make my heals appear over who I heal? - Friendly nameplates have to be on in order to show your heals. SCT will turn them on if you turn on the option, but you must manually turn them off if you don't like it (see Target keybindings).

SCTD damage is ontop of my SCT messages, how do I fix this? - I highly suggest you move SCT's message using the sliders on the SCT option menu. You can also move SCTD using the sliders on its menu. Consider placing it over you target bar.

How do I reset SCTD or load another users settings? - SCTD is tied directly to SCT. You can reset SCTD using SCT's reset button or typing /sctreset. You can load another users SCTD settings by loading them from the SCT option menu.

How do I change the fonts? - You can select from four fonts on the options page.

I don't like enemy nameplates on. How do I make my damage appear over who I hit? - Enemy nameplates have to be on in order to show your hit over the enemy heads. SCT will turn them on if you turn on the option, but you must manually turn them off if you don't like it (see Target keybindings).

Turisten A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 1 Uploads: 0	Same options for SCTD as for SCT adding the same options as for sct to sctd would be great. what i missed was that i couldnt unsticky my crits and that it didnt actually scroll. they just popped up uncontrolled all over my screen. when i have both sct and sctd, it gets kind of messy give us options instead of just leaving them out would be <3 other then that, its just great that you made this mod aswell keep up the good work

However, for most of us old timers I would prefer to just have the same options in the SCT package. I use my old SCT options right now but I overlay the top with the pet damage and that is nice. However, I would like to disable my pet crits but keep my own. Is this possible?

It's kinda annoying that you cannot make your crit scroll with the other damage and just have it as a different color. The crit numbers go all over the screen/interface and I often miss them because I have know idea where the number is about to pop. Having an option to unsticky your crit and just make it scroll would be very nice.

Would it be possible to have an option to place the damage you're doing over the target's head like the classic damage? Originally I had assumed this would be the case; just an SCT flavor to re-work the font and colors of the classic text, not a replacement. I was hoping that you may consider adding in options to alter the animation speed and distance, as is the case with the standard SCT. Currently I find it too fast for my liking and I wanted to slow it down a bit. Finally, could you extend either SCT or this to include XP messages? This needs to show the damage of you and your party members over your targets head. The party members damage should be in the same color as their class. I know you can put a frame above the coords of your targets head, and you know what the dmg numbers are from your party members, so why isn't this being done ? I'd be more than happy to program this, but I don't want to run head first into a brick wall cause I know I'm not the first to think of this, yet it has never been done.

Massacher A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 1 Uploads: 0	i noticed now that when i use cannibalize that it just says "You gain Cannibalize." where as before it used to show how much health it is giving me. why has this been changed? also this is not a big deal but when i drain soul it just says "You gain drain soul." before it used to just say [Drain Soul]. i may be confusing this with sct, i only just got sctd so im not sure which options make it load like the old version of sct. nvm i figured it out edit -> it still wont show how much health i am gaining when using cannibalize it just says [Cannibalize] when i start and [-Cannibalize] when i finish. it doesnt show the hp i get back per tic. There isn't - only Blizzard can do that. Maybe you could find a way if the user never moved his character or camera, otherwise - no way to do it. Thats not this point of this mod. Its just about providing combat log info on the screen in a very useful way. Just think of it as a nice way to view the combat log on the screen.

I've tinkered with the settings for a while, and still haven't found an ideal solution yet. Any advice would be appreciated

I can somewhat relate with Vampiric Embrace, and a somewhat large party, it just spams a crap load of green lines for every member getting healed (everyone).. there's gotta be a better way to do this

Like a single line.. Vampiric Embrace: +24 etc.. as far as dots though, I don't know..

Then you will only get the dots for your current target incith, there are 2 built in ways to handle that: 1) Use the heal filter and up it to something like 50 or 2) Use a custom event (one if there as an example already) to disable all VE events.
