BigWigs Bossmods  Updated less than 3 days ago!  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v7.4
by: funkydude [More]

BigWigs is open source and development is done on GitHub. You can contribute code, localization, and report issues there: https://github.com/BigWigsMods/BigWigs

BigWigs is a boss encounter add-on. It consists of many individual encounter scripts, or boss modules; mini add-ons that are designed to trigger alert messages, timer bars, sounds, and so forth, for one specific raid encounter. These encounter scripts are activated when you target or mouse over a raid boss, or if any other BigWigs user in your raid does. In most cases only one module will be running at any given time.

If you're looking for boss encounter scripts for 5-man dungeons, these are not in Big Wigs, but live in their own add-on; LittleWigs.

Issues

I have found an issue with bigwigs that I can't seem to fix. The mod will load for all my toons but one. The one that it willn't load for has the same name as a toon on a different server and it will load for that one. I've tryed deleting the mod from the addons folder and unpacking it there again but no good.

Strange error

Getting a strange error when clicking on the Fubar Text for the first time:
Code:

That's the entire output from "Swatter" (better debug frame mod)

I am using version 2.0 r24913 if that helps (taken from the SVN website)

I'm not sure if the error is with bigwigs or Autobar (also taken from same SVN, r24927)

MIght simply be a matter of conflicting Ace 2.0 libraries but I'm not that good with Lua

C'thun timers off in r24036

Specifically the eyestalk spawns in Phase 2 were way, way off. Didn't have a chance to observe closely enough to figure out if they were simply offset, or counting down the wrong amount of time, but they were at least 10-15 seconds off each spawn. Been about 6 weeks and quite a few versions since we visted C'thun, so I'm not sure if it broke in this version specifically or an earlier one.

I have the current bigwigs. After uploading the current version, I noticed that all the 3rd party mods such as Bigwigs_CThunAssist, Loathebtactical, and thaddius arrows do not show up in the extras area of bigwigs. Any solutions?

Got some problems with CandyBar and addons that use the library, like RegenFU, oRA etc ...
Somethig like : Fubar_Regen.lua:316 CandyBar-2.0: Bad argument #4 to 'Register' (string expected, got nil)

Edit: Got it working. Updated to the last versions. Seems the library syntax is changed.

error

I currently only have AutoBar v2.00.00.05 beta (with it's config), BCUI Tracking Menu v1.52 and the Bigwigs from this site enabled. When clicking on the minimap button to enable I see this error.

When logging in and activating BigWigs via the MiniMap-button I get the following error:

line 360 in BossBlock.lua has some stuff about CTRA... I have CTRA/CTBM v1.61 installed (the "Update 4: (6:15pm PST)"-version at ctmod.net)

Using Bigwigs on german client creates errors about missing translations for kharazan bosses. That's annoying.

It was reported by many users on the wowace forums, and fixed in a recent SVN build.
