Big Wigs is a boss encounter add-on. It consists of many individual encounter scripts, or boss modules; mini add-ons that are designed to trigger alert messages, timer bars, sounds, and so forth, for one specific raid encounter. These encounter scripts are activated when you target or mouse over a raid boss, or if any other Big Wigs user in your raid does. In most cases only one module will be running at any given time.

If you're looking for boss encounter scripts for 5-man dungeons, these are not in Big Wigs, but live in their own add-on; Little Wigs.

Kind of annoying to have multiple bars and you would need to figure out which one is the important one you need to notice 10 secs before and which ones you can just go with sound.

I'm having a hard time thinking what exactly you could be talking about. We introduced a new pulse feature in BW v4 which sounds sort-of like what you're describing, but this is off by default and needs to be turned on per-ability.

A good way to check would be to spam the test bars a few times and see if it randomly appears in your screen when a test bar expires, then you're definitely describing the Pulse feature.

Any ability that has the "Flash" option will now have the "Pulse" option, a new feature for attracting attention. Statistics: On by default. Records boss wipe/kill durations and the total amount of kills/wipes. Viewable on the individual boss panels. "Only on me": Off by default. This feature is a sub-option of boss abilities that allows you to restrict messages. E.g. "Bomb: Player" will only be shown when on you. In addition, a dispel role has been added. I'm having this same issue where I can't figure out a way to change the way BigWigs looks. If I could just change the border color it would make a massive difference. I know for you this all must seem insanely easy, but for the laymen it's a bunch of gobbledygook.

Core [Scheduler]: Re-wrote the timing/scheduling system for better CPU performance. Core [Pull Timer]: Added new "pull" functionality: e.g. /pull 10 will start a 10 second pull bar. Core [Main config]: Cleaned up the main config display and "configure" display a little. Plugin [BossBlock]: Previously this plugin would only stop messages from appearing in the middle of your screen, but the "raid warning" sounds would still play which was confusing. It now properly prevents the sounds from playing. Plugin [Emphasize]: Now has various customization options (font,etc), countdown has been separated to a different anchor. DBM Related: Core [DBM Faking]: Big Wigs now has a (disabled by default) feature to fake a DBM version check. Core [DBM Timer grabbing]: Big Wigs now has a (disabled by default) feature to grab any custom timers or pull timers sent by DBM users in your raid, and display them in Big Wigs. Core [Custom Timers]: Custom timers and pull timers sent by Big Wigs will now be visible by DBM users in your raid, useful for raid leaders that want everyone to see their timers.
