BigWigs Bossmods  Updated less than 3 days ago!  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v26
by: funkydude [More]

BigWigs is open source and development is done on GitHub. You can contribute code, localization, and report issues there: https://github.com/BigWigsMods/BigWigs

BigWigs is a boss encounter add-on. It consists of many individual encounter scripts, or boss modules; mini add-ons that are designed to trigger alert messages, timer bars, sounds, and so forth, for one specific raid encounter. These encounter scripts are activated when you target or mouse over a raid boss, or if any other BigWigs user in your raid does. In most cases only one module will be running at any given time.

If you're looking for boss encounter scripts for 5-man dungeons, these are not in Big Wigs, but live in their own add-on; LittleWigs.

If you are not close to C'thun when he dies, or in the stomach, you might not get the C'Thun dies message and the module might not disable. Shift-Clicking the button will disable it.

I will look into Hakkar.

But please post bugs/requests at: http://www.wowace.com/flyspray/
under the BigWigs project.

Not Found

The requested URL /svnweb/index.cgi/root/log/branches/BigWigs/Ace2/ was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
When I try to read the ChangeLog.

BigWigs is a superior replacement for CT_BossMod. It is not a raid assist addon. But it works whether you have a raid assist addon or not (CT_RaidAssist or oRA2).

C'Thun timers during phase 1 aren't anywhere near close

Flyspray is down, so I'm posting here. Bigwigs is useless in Phase 1 for C'Thun atm ever since Blizzard changed the start of the encounter again.

Is it me or are many of the boss timers off? I notice that my raid warnings and timer bars tned to be off on most all the fights I am in, whether it be in BWL or MC.

I have the same Problem like shears. At Boss fight with Hakkar i see only the first timer for the sons. If this expires, no additional timer bar is visible. Do i have to activate something in Setup ?

I've heard complaints in my raid group about the same thing, both Hakkar and Onyxia's Deep Breath, using any public release version of BigWigs. For myself, I update almost daily from the SVN and it has worked flawlessly on Hakkar/Ony for some time now, but using SVN or alpha builds and updating constantly isn't something I'd recommend for everyone.

I'm not sure if i found it, but i increased the range for the Messages für Creatures and Death and it worked fine at our last Hakkar fight. Perhaps i was too far away.

It was reported by many users on the wowace forums, and fixed in a recent SVN build.

Using Bigwigs on german client creates errors about missing translations for kharazan bosses. That's annoying.
