EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features.
It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings.
EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor.
After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

setting the icon to the right is already possible, changing the direction of the bar isn't.
I haven't found a way to do so, yet :/

Mirrored buffs

Any chance of getting a slash to mirror the buff?
Ie. icon is on the right and the bar goes from left to right?
Timer could be either on right or left side of bar, would personally preffer it to be just to the left of the icon

If this is allready possible... tell me how :P

2.0 compatible for the most part. I play a shaman (level 44) and am getting the error
"ElkBuffBar has been blocked from an action only available to the Blizzard UI" when I interact with my sentry totem. (you right-click on the buff to switch view between yourself and what is viewable from the totem location). It only triggers the warning on the click to switch from totem-view to character-view.

hi,

first thank you I love this addon, I have only one point.
Is it possible to change you're addon that it only shows buffs which are taking less than a minute?

latest commit should work again... Blizzard changed some parts of the buff API, so I had to figure the new stuff out myself.

Is that the reason that the newest TBC version from the wowace /files r17411 is not working in beta? Nothing shows up at all even with every other mod disabled.

Default ui buffs are horrible ><

Greetings Elkano,

I would like to extend my appreciation for this excellent buffbar mod. I use it exclusively and love it. I'd also echo patchtimer's request for upwards growth from a truly anchored spot. With the current build (r14740), if I set the anchor to BOTTOMLEFT, it actually does grow upwards, but in a slightly unpredictable way. I lock the EBB window in the lower lefthand quadrant on the screen, just above a damage meter window. If I apply poisons to mainhand/offhand (which creates 2 purple buff bars), and move EBB so that they are just above damage meters, other buffs will grow upwards from there. This position doesn't hold though. If I relog, the window will be in the right position, but as I start applying weapon buffs, they start growing downwards, overlapping the damage meters window again. I then have to drag the window back up... and repeat.

I hope this makes sense. It would be nice if in a future revision at some point, there was a way to set a bottom most anchor point and all buffs will grow upwards from there. No pressure! I use it, regardless of this, just a thought for the future. me lo ve y o u!

uninstall CT_BuffMod

EBB does hide the default frames, but some other evil mods out there are showing them again...
