EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your toon or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features.
It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings.
EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessable via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor.
After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

Nice one, thanks! I used Soru's hacked together version of the gypsybuffbars, but yours are much nicer all in all. Although as a little tip: You might not want to attach your bars to the minimap by default, took me a while to figure out why mine wouldn't show (I've got my minimap at the bottom of the screen )

I love this mod! Can't wait for an expand upwards function and categorization.

at the moment, there is no ingame way to change the width. but changing it in the XML file should work, just look for the "250" in the beginning of the file

Ingame commands will come soon (well, as soon as I find time to add them )

Is there any way I can adjust the width of the bar? I tried looking up the code of the .lua file but was unsuccessful. Perhaps if I edit the bar texture itself in photoshop?

Is there any possibility to sort the buffs on the bar on time remaining? I prefer to have all my unending buffs first (e.g. aura's), and then all the other buffs with the longest lasting first. That way I only have to look at the bottom of the list to see which buffs need to be redone.

If you have a piece of code to do this I can add it myself, otherwise would it be an option for a future version?

You can use my author's portal to request features http://elkano.wowinterface.com.
wrt the request:
I will be adding more features as I find time and sorting of the buffs will be one of them. I planned to sort the buffs based on their max. time but sorting based on time left should then also be possible

yeah i already figured out where to shorten the bars, personally i don't care if the buff names are cut off or not, this was just meant to be for carebears

concerning blizz buffs: it didn't hide them for me, i did it manually with moveanything (german client).

anyway, i really like this buff frame, just give transparency a try

well, it's the first release and I simply wanted to put in online to get some feedback
This version has no slash commands at all so if you want to configure it you'll have to do so by hand. But the design is already compatible to other bar lenghts and making this customizable was my intention from the beginning for now, simply change the 250 in the xml file (and maybe the one in the lua, too). For transparency it should be possible to do so by assigning an alpha value to ElkBuffBarFrame, I'll look into it.
wrt long buff names: they will be 'cut off' resulting in sth like "Power Word: Forti...". Resizing buffs to double lies in this cases would be hard and imho not worth the work.
And with regard to Blizzard's buff frame: the addon should hide it automaticaly.

looks really nice, and works fine.

i have a couple of suggestions, though:

- is there a way to shorten the bars ? (curently it is ways to wide for my taste, a lot wider than my minimap. takes to much space imho)
- maybe overlap one buff "row" into a second "row" per buff for long buff names (wich would also result in shorter "rows", without cutting of parts of the buff name)
- might it be possible to add transparency ? (would be ways cool, i think!)

maybe add an option to hide the blizz buff frame, not everyone has moveanything or the like to do that (just an idea, i have them hidden myself already)

anyway i got a new buff frame now, keep it up
