EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features.
It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings.
EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor.
After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

Anchoring Groups

Love the addon.

I'm trying to switch my TENCH list from below the buffs to above, and want the normal buffs to anchor to the bottom of the TENCH list. I like the buff bar scaled to about 60%.

I figured out (maybe I'm wrong) that the scale has to be the same for the anchor to "catch". Couldn't get it to connect any other way but to increase the buff bars to 100% and then anchor together. I thought I would then decrease the scale, which works, but the smaller buff bars are left-aligned with the larger TENCH group and I want them to be right-aligned (because all this is on the right side of my screen).

Am I making sense? Is there a way to anchor groups without changing scale first?

just position group 2 close under group 1 and it should attach once you release the mouse.

How do you "anchor" one bar to another? Maybe I'm not understanding correctly. Are you saying you can create another group, and set that group to always attach to the bottom of another group?

For example, Group 1 I set to blacklist all self-buffs. Group 2 I set to whitelist all self-buffs. Can I then anchor Group 2 to the bottom of Group 1 so that my self-buffs are always at the bottom?

When I try to do this now, when Group 1 grows, it just covers over Group 2. What I want it to do is "push" the Group 2 anchor downward as if Group 2 were attached to Group 1.

I'm pretty sure that these aren't caused by the default UI since
- I don't have them myself
- giant icons in the middle of the screen blocking view is something I don't think Blizzard would ever implement...

I'm getting ready to to re-download, but if I remember right, if you right click the icon on minimap or bar/panel you can select the buff (Target, Buff, Debuff) this will show the anchor and make it movable. From there you can set all the options for that group and relock.

No to both, at least for the moment.

Hi.

Have used your buffbars for a long time now , and am coming back from a wow-break. Im just wondering if you are planning , or have added , the possibility to show damagabsorbshields as a bar of time or how much absorption is left , or maybe even some 'prediction' system , based on incoming damage , how long is the shield predicted to hold.

Would be a great addition imo.
