EBB provides groups of statusbar style indicators to show (de)buffs currently affecting your char or some other units (currently focus, pet and target). For the player, it can also show indicators for temporary enchants place on it's weapons.

Due to changes Blizzard made with WoW 4.x it's no longer possible to cancel buffs without the use of secure frames. Currently EBB limits canceling of buffs to out-of-fight since using SecureAuraHeader would have required a major code restructuring. This will be coming in a later version.

Version 2.x is a total recode based on the Ace2 framework which became necessary in order to support some of the longtime wanted and suggested features.
It's now possible to show different groups of bars which can be configured in many ways. Each group can be assigned an individual look and filter settings.
EBB can be configured via a dropdown menu which is accessible via chat (/ebb config), FuBar plugin or (for the group settings) by right clicking the groups anchor.
After setting up a group, its anchor can be hidden by alt-left clicking a bar or the anchor itself in order to lock the group in place.

In order to get additional bar textures and fonts for EBB simply install SharedMedia which is available for download under http://wow.curse.com/downloads/wow-addons/details/sharedmedia.aspx

The addon still seems broken for me. Tried removing all WTF and Addon files from elkanos and the buffs/debuffs stop updating after a while. Really annoying since I dont how many sanity stacks I have on yogg in example. Is this a common problem or am I missing something?

I love this mod too.

I turned off the name bar on the debuffs and I cannot get it back. I also cannot resize the trench (poisons) when I resize the buffs. I deleted the saved variables files. What else can I do?

It's not trench but tench, short for temporary enchants. ^^
TENCH is a different group than buffs so you have to resize that group, too.
And for the "name bar", if you mean the anchor saying DEBUFFS, just alt-click a debuff showing in that group or activate the anchor via the DewDrop menu.

I just downloaded EBB because it has white/blacklist available so I can filter out all the useless buffs I don't care about. LOVE IT!
I would however prefer to just use normal buff icons like Blizzard's with a small timer below them, as it doesnt take up as much space as having bars. Is that possible with this addon? I'd also like to have buffs grow horizontally like Blizzard's if possible.
I have been using Satrina's for this for a while but for some reason it just kills my fps in 25player raids :/

Ah, I'm glad I checked the comments before I went ahead and downloaded this then, Pasch!

Is there an ETA on EBB3? I've been using Morganti'sBuffBars for a long time, and I really need a change as (s)he doesn't update them very often, and their quite buggy as it is. I've been on the lookout for a buffmod that could make my buffs/debuffs/weapon buffs look similar (preferably the same) as these:

http://s9.photobucket.com/albums/a70...509_184450.jpg

(buffs, left side in between action bars as icons. debuffs, right side above mini-map with text for easy reading. weapon buffs, inside the unitframes there along the bottom as icons..could do without that one, jus a little qwerk)

From what I understand from Pasch's post, this isn't possible at the time, Elkano?

Hi.

Have used your buffbars for a long time now , and am coming back from a wow-break. Im just wondering if you are planning , or have added , the possibility to show damagabsorbshields as a bar of time or how much absorption is left , or maybe even some 'prediction' system , based on incoming damage , how long is the shield predicted to hold.

Would be a great addition imo.

Just got the mod for the first time. I'm curious, but is there a way to do the following?

1. Have a priority system on buffs. Ex. I might always want slice and dice at the top of the bars so I always know where to look. Kind of like reserved seating until the guest arrives.
2. Also is there a way to setup multiple bars, but have them switch depending if you're in combat or not?

No to both, at least for the moment.

I'm getting ready to to re-download, but if I remember right, if you right click the icon on minimap or bar/panel you can select the buff (Target, Buff, Debuff) this will show the anchor and make it movable. From there you can set all the options for that group and relock.

Blizzard's new and "improved" buff frames cannot be turned off.

I have gigantic icons of every buff I gain (yes, including raid buffs) show up right in the middle of my screen, crowding themselves on top of my target frame!

Any chance of an update that hides these frames like you do the rest of the default Blizzard buff UI?

I'm pretty sure that these aren't caused by the default UI since
- I don't have them myself
- giant icons in the middle of the screen blocking view is something I don't think Blizzard would ever implement...
