Clique is a simple addon that enables powerful click-casting and hover-casting on your unit frames and in the 3D game world. You can bind virtually any mouse or keyboard combination to a spell or macro. In it's normal configuration this enables you to use the bindings over your unit frames in order to cast spells directly on that unit. This allows you to more quickly select both the spell to cast, and the target of the spell without requiring an extra click.
To begin with Clique, open your spellbook and click on the new tab that is shown there. You can also open the configuration GUI by running the /clique slash command. From this binding interface you can add, remove and alter any of your Clique bindings. You will be unable to make these changes when you are in combat due to limitations in the Blizzard API.
Binding a spell
Binding a spell is just a matter of finding the spell in your spellbook, putting your mouse over it, and performing the binding you would like to add. For example, if you'd like to set 'Regrowth' to activate on 'Shift-LeftButton', then you just find that spell in your spellbook and then Shift-LeftClick on it. You can also bind keyboard combinations, so you could do the same with Shift-R if you'd like.
Keep in mind when you are setting your bindings that they will override any bindings that are already set on the frame, for example the default bindings to 'Target unit' and 'Show unit menu'. You can override these bindings if you would like, but you should then set a new different combination that will activate the original functions
Binding the 'Target unit' or 'Show unit menu' actions
If you've rebound or lose these default bindings, you can re-bind them using the 'Bind other' button in the Clique configuration. Click on the button, and choose the correct action and you will be presented with a dialog box that allows you to set the binding for that action. Simply choose a new key combination, and you will be able to target units and open your menu again.
Binding a macro
Binding a macro can also be found on the 'Bind other' button. You'll be given a new window with instructions and suggestions about writing your macros, but other than that the process should seem very similar.
Managing click-sets
Each binding can belong to a number of binding-sets. These sets determine when the binding is active. The built-in binding-sets are as follows:

ElvUI has a thread regarding this, their fix of blacklisting the ElvUI player frame worked. https://www.tukui.org/forum/viewtopi...t=437&start=10 so fixed for now |

I'm mashing my E button throughout the video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egKVic3H19U As you can see, the E button works fine until I actually just hover over any unit frames and working fine until I do. This wasn't the case before, in 7.3.5 it would just be passed to the action bars if I didn't have anything set in clique on that button for that spec.

This is how I've set my spells in Clique Using this setup my E button gets locked in specs other than prot. Chaning specs seems to fix it briefly until my mouse hovers over something and it gets "locked". and by locked it just mean it doesn't seem to react to me pressing the button. It works fine if I make Hand of the Protector not have a spec requirement like this; But being that its a protection spell I sort of only want to cast it while being protection. I had something similar for my 1-4 buttons as holy which caused my 1-4 buttons to not work in retri or prot. One workaround is to make a bind in clique for every spell but that's quite a lot of extra work and not something that was required in 7.x.x

I believe I've figured it out - I replicated the problem on two different characters with only Clique enabled.
The "hovercast" binding option seems to be the issue. When I deselect it from a spell's Clique options, I can cast a spell on a frame; and when not targeting a frame, I can cast the other ability on my actionbar. This is great! I'm thinking that enabling hovercast made Clique continually "look" for other players that my mouse may be hovering over, so it "took over" the ability on my actionbar. Seeing as I never used that functionality, this is no longer an issue for me - I just need to remove hovercast from my Clique spell settings. Let me know if that was indeed the issue, thanks!

I'll see what I can do to more reliably replicate it tonight. Thank you!

I also haven't played World of Warcraft in over six years, so these aren't issues that I run into myself while playing. I appreciate any help you can provide in tracking this down in a minimal and reliable way.

Hi As my update nr 2 below its hard to pinpoint why and how the bug accures. But as I understand it it has to be something like this: When the mousepointer goes over a frame it override the other keybind and cliques take over, and when the mousepointer leave the frame it unlock the override, it feels then to be like for some reason it wont unlock sometimes and get "stuck". |

Best way to test is probably with an instance in a city. I don't have a WoW sub at the moment, so I need something that I can *easily* reproduce on the beta with whatever character they give me.
The good news it this sounds like a bug and it works under "clean" circumstances.

Ex. I use qwea<c for mouseover spells on frames in clique (normaly healing spells), and using same hotkeys for other spells on the actionbar (attackskills/cc and so on). Now when i changed from my holy spec to my ret and flew over some zones and was about to start to kill for a world quest the hotkeys for his attacks got locked again, pressing manuelly on the actionbar worked. After the fight i removed the keybindings for my holy spec + /rl and it unlocked the actionbar again for the hotkeys. I will try make this happen on shaman next. Update 1: For now I cant make it happen again, tried on monk and paladin and it works for now. Changed zones, builds, quick reloaded ui etc. But couldnt reproduce the bug. Something makes it snap though. Update 2: Okey was just doing some world quests today (as prot paladin), and the hotkeys got looked randomly after 20-30 min playing. Was working fine on one mob and suddenly on next the actionbars hotkeys was "locked" again on those keys that are bound in clique (those set to only work in holy and those i have set for prot/ret). When i did a /rl it got unstuck again. But I have tested that before and sometimes it wont work and the "lock" would still be there. Not sure what I can do to try it further to pinpoint what makes it tick.

Okay, I cannot reproduce this at the moment.
Level 110 priest. Action bar button 4 bound to 'Q' on Holy Word: Serenity (since it was there) In Clique, I have a "default" binding for Q to Flash Heal. I mouse-over the player frame and press Q and I get Flash Heal. I put my mouse anywhere other than over a Clique-enabled unit frame and I get HW: Serenity. Can someone give me basic instructions like this to reproduce the issue?
