Clique is a simple addon that enables powerful click-casting and hover-casting on your unit frames and in the 3D game world. You can bind virtually any mouse or keyboard combination to a spell or macro. In it's normal configuration this enables you to use the bindings over your unit frames in order to cast spells directly on that unit. This allows you to more quickly select both the spell to cast, and the target of the spell without requiring an extra click.
To begin with Clique, open your spellbook and click on the new tab that is shown there. You can also open the configuration GUI by running the /clique slash command. From this binding interface you can add, remove and alter any of your Clique bindings. You will be unable to make these changes when you are in combat due to limitations in the Blizzard API.
Binding a spell
Binding a spell is just a matter of finding the spell in your spellbook, putting your mouse over it, and performing the binding you would like to add. For example, if you'd like to set 'Regrowth' to activate on 'Shift-LeftButton', then you just find that spell in your spellbook and then Shift-LeftClick on it. You can also bind keyboard combinations, so you could do the same with Shift-R if you'd like.
Keep in mind when you are setting your bindings that they will override any bindings that are already set on the frame, for example the default bindings to 'Target unit' and 'Show unit menu'. You can override these bindings if you would like, but you should then set a new different combination that will activate the original functions
Binding the 'Target unit' or 'Show unit menu' actions
If you've rebound or lose these default bindings, you can re-bind them using the 'Bind other' button in the Clique configuration. Click on the button, and choose the correct action and you will be presented with a dialog box that allows you to set the binding for that action. Simply choose a new key combination, and you will be able to target units and open your menu again.
Binding a macro
Binding a macro can also be found on the 'Bind other' button. You'll be given a new window with instructions and suggestions about writing your macros, but other than that the process should seem very similar.
Managing click-sets
Each binding can belong to a number of binding-sets. These sets determine when the binding is active. The built-in binding-sets are as follows:

Re: Decursive integration?
If the new decursive is a static list (i.e. it doesn't sort).. then yes, you could set it to work with Clique.

Decursive integration?
Love this mod.
Is there any chance that Clique can be made to work with Decursive's "live list" (much as it already does with CTRA's emergency monitor)? Although Decursive no longer auto-cures, it still maintains a list of everyone who needs a cure in the "live-list." If I could manually cast a dispel spell on the afflicted target with Clique, it would be a pretty useful replacement for the old decursive functionality. -Polyq *"Decursive Continued" http://www.2072productions.com/?to=decursive.php or http://wow.curse-gaming.com/en/files...ive-continued/ |

I bind "show menu" to Alt+rightclick but it doesn't work with AG_Unitframes. It shows only the AG_Unitframes-Menu.
Cladhaire do you have an idea to fix it ? |

Re: Re: Re: healing myself more than i want :)
I must have read things wrong. in short, there's nothing that _I_ can do in one of my mods. If you want to use Blizzard's auto-self cast, you'll have to deal with the pecularities, because there's not much that I can do.

Re: Re: healing myself more than i want :)
I am having the same problem as Hangar in that I have come to rely on having self-cast enabled (I used Telo's self-cast before the patch, the blizz version now) and that healing somebody who is out of range makes me heal myself instead of showing the out of range message like it used to. This is not much of a problem in raids but in PvP it can really complicate things. I am posting mainly because I dont quite understand your response (quoted). The problem is precisely that it does heal me automatically and It would be preferable if it just gave me an out of range error. I am assuming that the problem lies with having self-cast enabled and that since using clique means you dont actually target the people you heal, self-cast assumes you are trying to heal yourself. Now the question is if there is any way that I could keep self-cast enabled and not have this happen? I assume that there are many other healers out there that have self-cast enabled since it is rather tedious to have to keep switching targets in pvp when going from doing damage to healing yourself. I realize macros are an option if all else fails, but it would definately be nicer if I could get around this problem without having to use more buttons. Anyway, keep up the good work. |

Another CastParty refugee here. Clique seems like the ticket. I'll be overhealing like a noob for some time, but at least I'll be able to click-heal. Was able to convert my old clicks over without a problem. Missing the party frames, but I'll handle the Blizzard frames fine for the time being (wanted to give ag_UnitFrames a try, but not doing so till the issue noted below is resolved).
One quirk I've encountered with the Blizz frames, though. Likely has been brought up before, but with a 5 days of trying to work through all the mod issues here, please excuse me for not finding it . I set my mouse clicks (for a 60 priest) to follow what I was used to in CastParty. Left click-Flash Heal, Right click--Greater Heal, Mouse 4--Renew, Shift-left click--PW:Shield, etc.. When I click on the player & party portraits, all the clicks work properly. But...when I click on the player & party health/mana bar portion of the frames, it doesn't work properly. Only one bound spell fires no matter what mouse button I click. For example, it could be the left-click bound spell (Flash Heal) that casts, no matter what button I am clicking. Move back over to the left clicking the player/party portraits and the spells cast appropriately again. One other quirk related to that. When you are in a party, its essential to be able to rightclick your character portrait to set the looting/check the looting/leave the party/etc.. You can't when Clique is active for that frame. Yes, in options there is the possibility to remove that frame (& others) from being able to be clicked. But in a standard 5-person party, removing the the player frame from being able to be Cliqued (so you can get the standard right-click actions as noted) means no more click-healing for your character. Can this be changed so that it will work properly when clicking the mana/health bar portion of the frames? And if so, any chance that you could have an option to have Clique work on that portion of the frame only as opposed to the portraits (to resolve the player portrait issue above)? If not, how about a quick shortcut or key bind for disabling the player frame from Cliqueage? |

healing myself more than i want :)
issue i'm having since the patch. i could be wrong about this but maybe someone can confirm...
if i try to click-heal someone who's extremely out of range while 'auto self cast' is turned on (in interface options), it will heal me instead (or decurse etc.). this is very bad because i think it's casting on them and blow the mana on myself when i probably don't need it. if 'auto self cast' is not enabled and i try to click-heal someone who's extremely out of range, i get the glowing hand icon that wants me to click on someone to heal. that's also bad and results in either having to click again to get rid of it or find someone in range who needs a heal. if i try to heal someone who's only slightly out of range, i get the behavior i want (the old behavior), no cast, no glowing icon, and the 'out of range' red error message in the middle of my screen. i'm not sure why range makes a difference here. if they're out of range, i can't heal them. hmmm. clad: thx for all of your hard work, will always <3 clique edit: i'm reading the comments below (still reading.. maybe my answer is there . btw, i'm not using any macros.

On the targeted casting, I guess I can just create a macro for each one I need using target mouseover plus the spell cast. It will just take a little longer. Thanks again for your great work!
