Re: Re: Bug

Love WIM, made my chatting tons easier but after the new patch my text has gone transparent!

I usually adjust the window to make it more transparent. Previous to the patch the text stayed opaque, but now when I adjust transparency of the window the text also becomes transparent making it impossible to read! Is it something I'm doing wrong?

Smokin mod! My only request/suggestion is to add a flag to filter out lvl 1 characters (spammers).

Thanks for the comments.

The ignoring of arrow keys feature has already been implemented. check out WIM's options. There is a setting under the general tab (/wim)

As far as linking quest names, that should be easy enough.

I have never tried cellular, and am leary on trying it now. For the same reasons that I never tried ForgottenChat, I do not want to steal any ideas from these other addons. I prefer to keep things original. Though WIM and the others may share features, I like to take my own approach at coding. Knowing something else is available may tempt me to do otherwise.

WIM has grown through its users comments and suggestions. If you would like to contribute, please check out the website at

Thanks again.

Great mod, i have been using it since the first version, but there is something that i would really like to have implented into WIM..

How about making the text field so you can use the arrow keys to go back and forth in the text when you made a typo,
so you dont have to use your mouse or delete the text all the way back to wher the typo is.

Also support for Shift Clicking quests into the text box would be a great addition to it..

Keep up the good work..

I changed from cellular to WIM because of WIMs ease of use.

In what way do you prefer Cellular?

wim VS cellular

not bad, i like the tabbed chats, but could you download and look at Cellular, hmmm if this and cellular could come together.. that'd be awesome
i prefer cellulars layout ease of use.
Also, was hoping to have seen the [set position] function working in this version, oh well, maybe next time

Hope that made sense

Re: updating is fun

The only dislike I have about this mod, is that the window keeps hiding. It should be always visible, like a chat window.
If not yourself, who can you count on...

Great addon! I used to have a similar one, although can't remember the name of it - but this is much better!

Got a very small request though - could you add my addon, Guild Inventory to the default list of filters? The text should be "^<GI-".

Thanks for the comments everyone. I am currently working on WIM 2.0. It should be released within the next week or so. It will have a tabbed version and I promise you, I put a lot of time into them and from what I have seen, they are the most advanced tabs that I have seen in any addon. stay tunned.
