Thanks, I'll check it out. Probably just some API change made in patch 2.4 or 3.0 that got overlooked because I wasn't leveling any characters and nobody reported it. Weird that I haven't seen it while leveling in Northrend though.

Omg, I forgot that I never implemented scrolling. Who would believe that in 3 years nobody has ever created enough events in a single day to cause it to need to scroll

I'll put it on the list of things to fix but I'll probably not include it in 4.3 since that version is pretty much done at this point.

- BUGFIX: Game assertion error should be gone for Macintosh users (unverified)

I have direct verification of this happening with a friend's Mac, I'll try to track down the problem and get it fixed asap. The game keeps running, right? It just has that error dialog sitting in the background?

So far all three reports I've gotten are from Mac users so I think you may be right. I've been trying to reproduce it on a Mac and haven't had any luck though -- it's working fine so far. Could you provide specific steps which cause it to happen? I've tried normal stuff like viewing the calendar and flipping between tabs, but maybe it takes a very specific sequence of actions to cause the crash.

It does extend to version queries as well because the protocol prefix is used to filter the incoming messages very early on.

It's a good point though and I'll see how hard it would be to "bi-wire" the data stream so that it could listen on the old protocol prefix but only honor certain specific requests such as version checks with that older prefix.
