    XLoot Master - A replacement for the built-in Master Looter Dropdown

    All options are available through /xloot master (Command line) or /xloot options -> XLoot Master (GUI). Each option is fully documented in the tooltip for it.

    The Priority menu is simply a way to put certain people directly below the loot in the menu, to ease distribution of common items.

    I'm not actually familiar with the random system now. A WoWAce programmer re-wrote the random function to help prevent "Streaks of Luck". It should be more fair now.

    After clearing and requesting a new roll, Master will listen for X (default 30) seconds, and capture all rolls in that time, displaying whichever ones match the range you define. All captured rolls can be clicked directly to distribute the item to that person.

    XLoot Master mimics the default dropdown menu for all functions for distributing loot, except confirmation, for which a new StaticPopup has been created. (XLootMasterOptions.lua)

    Notifies users that "XLoot" should be installed instead, as this is now inactive.
    This is only due to the massive fragmentation the addon has experienced over its lifetime, and to prevent more subsequent user confusion.

    how do you move the Loot pop up frame? i can move looted items list/frame but not the Pop up loot frame after installing and putting it in a good place. i would like to move it slightly

    Since 1.0 has it's own slash commands, the old ones have been moved to /xloot_dummy (To keep with the compatibility plugin's name, which I probably could've chosen better)

    Kind of a noob question, but when I type in /xloot master or /xloot options, nothing about xloot master actually comes up. It's just the options for the Xloot addon itself.

    (I'm using Xloot 1.0 and the plugin dummy with Xloot master.)

    XLoot 1.0 is not compatible with these modules, it does say so in the description.

    This, Group, and Monitor all seem to be pointing to the XLoot folder instead of the XLoot1.0 folder for their dependencies. It's an easy fix, just go into the .toc file for each of those addons and change the dependency line to match the new folder name. Of course, then I get lua errors relating to attempts to index global 'XLoot' (a nil value--well yeah, it's not there anymore).

    Unfortunately, I'm not versed well enough in lua to go any further quite yet, so I leave this information I got from screwing around to you.

    Not yet. I'm still avoiding it like the plague, to be perfectly honest. Master and Monitor rely heavily on Ace2 libraries, and Monitor/Group rely on a really shoddy library I made AS WELL AS Ace2 libraries. They'll need full re-writes.

    I'm open to suggestions as to how I should implement them, though.

    Master will likely be a popup (not staticpopup) frame with more information instead of a dropdown, for starters.

    Having the option to have two roll announcements would make this really great and usable in my raids.

    Like:
    "Roll for MS [Item]. Roll ends in [Time]."
    "Roll for OS [Item]. Roll ends in [Time]."

    And maybe having the award text display [Roll1] and [Roll2] field that can be configured to say anything in options. But that isn't necessary, just cool.

    I love your addons otherwise! Keep up the good work you three.


    edit: I got impatient and so I made a second roll announcement function. I think it was so easy because you are really clean and simplistic in writing the code. Thank youuu!

    i cant seem to get the capture rolls to work i have it checked to work and i have set the timer but i wait and wait and eventually i just have to start passing out loot and it never tells me who won, i hope thats what its meant to do, am i saposed to do something to make it start capturing. any help would be appreciated tx

    Until such time as Xuerian has a chance to push an updated version here on WoWI,
    you can get a beta version of XLootMaster that works on 3.1 from curse:

    XLoot and the rest of the family should work fine in 3.1 with just "load out of date" checked.
