PallyPower  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: v5.0.9
by: Aznamir [More]
PallyPower 4.0 is a scaled down version of PallyPower. This add-on provides an interactive and easy to use interface that allows you set your own blessings (Righteous Fury, Aura, Seal and Blessing) and automatically check for missing buffs.

Buff button controls are:

RF button:
Left click = cast RF
Mouse scroll = RF on/off

Aura/Seal button:
Left click = cast Aura
Shift + Mouse scroll = change Aura
Right click = cast Seal
Mouse Scroll = change Seal

Buff-button:
Left click = 60 minute buff
Mouse scroll = change Blessing
Shift + Right Mouse drag = move PallyPower Frame around

In combat none of the spells can be changed due to the in-combat lock-out. To access PallyPower interface settings use the standard Blizzard interface menu / Addons tab. To change PallyPower keybinds use the standard Blizzard keybind menu.

Official support thread: http://forums.wowace.com/showthread.php?t=7205
v4.0.11

Just a suggestion, someone over on WOWhead was asking how to turn PallyPower off on his non-pallies...
Thanks but no. PallyPower does not show anything for non-paladin classes onthe screen (except the anchor button you can disable from config menu).
You can even disable the mod and it will stop processing any events.

But PallyPower is perfectly usable by other classes for blessing assignments.

You may want to modify your initialise function to be something like this (NOT tested!)

function PallyPower:OnInitialize()
local _,class=UnitClass("player")
if (class == "PALADIN") then
self:RegisterDB("PallyPowerDB")
self:RegisterChatCommand({"/pp"}, self.options)
self:RegisterDefaults("profile", PALLYPOWER_DEFAULT_VALUES)
self.player = UnitName("player")
self.opt = self.db.profile
self:ScanInventory()
self:CreateLayout()
if self.opt.skin then
PallyPower:ApplySkin(self.opt.skin)
end
dewdrop:Register(PallyPowerConfigFrame, "children",
function(level, value) dewdrop:FeedAceOptionsTable(self.options) end,
"dontHook", true
)
self.AutoBuffedList = {}
self.PreviousAutoBuffedUnit = nil
else
PallyPowerFrame:Hide() -- If you're not a paladin, hide all PallyPower Frames.
PallyPowerConfigFrame:Hide()
end
end

Basically, if the player isn't playing a paladin, have PallyPower hide itself, since it won't do a non-paladin any good.

Just a suggestion, someone over on WOWhead was asking how to turn PallyPower off on his non-pallies...

Profile has nothing to do with blessing assignments. Profile only saves PallyPower configuration and layout settings.

I think you may wanna try the preset functionality:

/script PallyPower:SavePreset("name1");

saves the current greater blessings assignments. Assign might/wis to yourself and save the preset as "M/W". Assign kings to yourself and save the preset as "Kings"

/script PallyPower:LoadPreset("name1");
loads previously saved preset

Make 2 macros to load "M/W" and "Kings" when you need them.

Don't forget to call
/script PallyPower:UpdateLayout()

after you change the profile, especially if the change affects the PallyPower layouts or button visibility.
Running that command does nothing. I'm not changing layout, just power assignments (actually just trying to use profiles to save that I should get might when I'm ret and wisdom whem I'm holy).

It just seems like profiles do nothing. They show up in the menu, but selecting one or another doesn't make any change to the current config.

Could it be a problem with a dependency?

Thanks for your assistance,

sounds reasonable. i could easily incoporate the command line into my outfitter scripts. i just don't get, why pp won't remember my settings in different profiles.

But I think you can easily do the following:

Install the mod and configure it the way you like. Create a second profile - Options, Profile, Other - enter new name and press enter. Then select Options, Profile, Copy From and select Default. Now you got 2 equal profiles. Now you can configure seals and rf buff in each differently. To switch profiles use 2 macros:

Macro1:
/pp profile choose Default
/script PallyPower:UpdateLayout()

Macro2:
/pp profile choose Custom
/script PallyPower:UpdateLayout()

With 'None' skin, once you buff someone the red color goes away and the button becomes transparent.
PallyPowerValues.lua for all customization settings.

Or simply change Skin option to None (aka old style as shown on screenshots)

ATTENTION:
I'm looking for more layout ideas. PallyPower b3.2.1 supports custom layouts (see PallyPowerValues.lua). Currently there are two test/example layouts.

Layout How-to:
There are 11 class buttons - array c and for each class button there are 8 player buttons - array p.
Class and special buttons are hooked to the anchor using bottom left corner, coordinate usits are buttonWidth for X and buttonHeight for Y.
Player buttons are hooked to Class buttons.

You can download this beta from curse.com
