Cartographer is a modular, lightweight, and efficient framework for manipulation of the world map.

Battlegrounds : allows viewing of battlegrounds outside of the zone.
Coordinates : adds coordinates to the bottom of the world map of the player and the cursor.
Foglight : Shows unexplored areas on the map. replacement for MozzFullWorldMap or Unexplorer. Much more efficient, though.
Group Colors : turns all your party's and your raid's POIs into circles colored based on class, and shows a number on them based on their raid group.
Guild Positions : show all guild members that also have Cartographer.
Instance Loot : shows loot tables when you click a boss note
Instance Maps : shows maps of instances.
Instance Notes : adds boss notes and such to instance maps.
Look 'n' Feel : allows you to change the transparency, position, and scale of the world map.
Notes : lets you put notes on the map, similar to MapNotes.
POI : store notes that city guards point you to.
Professions : automatically tracks herbs, minerals, and treasure.
Waypoints : allow you to make waypoints and have a big arrow point the way.
Zone Info : on hovering over a zone, it will show the levels of the zone, the instances in the zone, their levels, and the number of men the instance is made for (e.g. 5-man, 40-man).

Soon enough, I found myself looking for people losing hit points to see where backup was needed. With that idea (to see the incomings instead of waiting for them to be called) I opened cartographers code and here's what I came up with: GroupColors.lua Code: tex:SetVertexColor(t.r, t.g, t.b) --line 110 if UnitAffectingCombat("raid"..i) and (time()+i) % 2 == 0 then -- line 111, added tex:SetVertexColor(0.8, 0, 0) -- line 112, added end --line 113, added Code: tex:SetVertexColor(t.r, t.g, t.b) --line 124 if UnitAffectingCombat("party"..i) and (time()+i) % 2 == 0 then -- line 125, added tex:SetVertexColor(0.8, 0, 0) -- line 126, added end --line 127, added So half the time, a player's color is red if he/she is in combat. A more integrated way to go about it would be to have two sets of GroupColorsArtwork files, one with black (default) numbers and one with red (in combat numbers). The UnitAffectingCombat function is somewhat limited in range, likely the enemy targettable distance, but it is the most accurate, as far away info is delayed at best. Gathering has been updated in the latest version, and works, so far, flawlessly (been using for about 2 weeks now with no issues, even after the 2.0 patch). Instance maps are wonderful. Your location actually appears on the map! I can't tell you how disappointed I was in Atlas regarding their instance maps in this function... I am a new player, so I don't have instances memorized in the slightest. I would rather know where I am, than know what loot drops where. I mean, you figure that out when it drops anyway, right? The note adding ability is second to none, and the on screen, hot scalable, hot alpha adjustable map is THE BEST, PERIOD. Nothing else comes close. Instance maps are also, for direction finding anyway, the best, period. Can't say enough about the mod. I use squeenix for the square mini map feature, the combination cannot be beat. If you like Atlas, if you like Titan map mod, get this. You'll realize just how much was missing from the other mods when you try this out. And yes, it works just fine in BC and patch 2.0. ckknight=stud

Ah ha! Go to this thread and it has a Perl script to download that will convert your data. Worked perfectly for me.

Figured I'd mention it. Other than that, LOVING this addon, especially for my gathering skills.

Without that, I would throw away tons of collected data and start all over again, which is really not what I want... Keeping an eye on this, meanwhile sticking to MetaMap.
