Since the last patch Cartographer and Quest Guru dont seem to like each other. I really dont want to have to drop eather. Is there a update in the works for Cartographer?

hi,

this is one of the very few times i've posted in this site cos i always have no problems with the addons. i've been using cartographer since a year ago. and this problem is start to annoy to that extent i have to post

how the hell u get rid of that error msg? it always appears when u open up the map when u are in BG or WG or instances , or whenever u are in raid or party.

pressing OK on that error doesnt solve anything. it just re-appear 1 sec later.

PLEASE COME OUT WITH AN UPDATE TO REMOVE THAT ERROR ! I LOVE U VERY MUCH !

Does anyone know a way to turn off POI? Mainly for Wintergrasp, Hellfire and Cities? The dang blue dots obscure useful information (who owns a resource/tower). If i delete them they will be recreated upon exit.

The current bugs are starting to annoy me

rating over 9000 ^_~ lol I love cart, please never forget us widdle cart admirers! Seriously, I would go nuts w/o Cart *sigh* it's one of my 'can't live without' addons lol


Another thing, Cart isn't as big as it might look, if anything is pretty small. But you have the ability to tune your cart easier and the ability to turn off what you can't use with more ease and less likely of breaks.

Seriously Cart is one of the most user-friendly addons, specially map ones, out there. Pretty much anything can be used with it. It really isn't bigger, just more options. ^_~

Which is better Carbonite or Cartgographer?

I used Cartographer but the amount of things that where packed in was a bit silly where as Carbonite seems to be quite light.

Any advice would be good.

I cannot get the map for Dalaran to show up. Any suggestions?

How do you set a waypoint for a different zone?

Typing /waypoint help seems to state the syntax is "/way x,y z-zone"

I try "/way 55,60 z-Nagrand" And I get an error that the zone doesn't exist and waypoints no longer responds until I reloadui.

Lightheaded seems to be able to set waypoints in different zones when you click the name of quest givers.

I have not tested it personnally yet.

I used the UI Manager to install Cartographer, but the addons button at the character screen isn't showing up. Can someone determine what the problem is?

metamap leaves me feeling lacking. And i dont like the "googlemaps" feel of the new cartographer i found somewhere (i think curse). And now im looking at AlphaMap, but then again, its just not the same! blargh!

Edit: oh. Apparently there are 2 different cartographers that are updated now. Cartographer 3 is the GMaps one, and then there is plain old cartographer. They are updated on Curse.
