This addon displays four timer buttons one for each totem element. If you cast a totem it's icon will be set to the appropriate timer button with the totem's remaining time underneath it.
In previous versions TotemTimers was able to recast a previously cast totem by clicking on the appropriate timer. This functionality has been removed by Blizzard with the 2.0 Patch.
TotemTimers 7.0 tries to implement a casting system for totems that will get as near as possible to the previous recasting and expanding it so that you should no longer need totems on any other action bars. Since it is not possible any more to recast the last used totem, totems will have to be assigned to the four timer buttons manually. Although this is not recasting per se, this readme and the addon will still refer to this as recasting.
Each timer button consists of two icons: The big main icon which indicates which totems are currently active and a small mini icon which indicates what totem will be cast when you leftclick that button. To change the totem assigned to that button mouseover it (you can set that behaviour to rightclick instead of mouseover, see options below). A button bar will appear with all totems for the timer's element. If you leftclick such a totem button it will cast the displayed totem. If you rightlick a totem button that totem will be assigned to the timer button. If you middleclick a totem button that totem will be cast and set to the timer button. Totem ordering of the totem bars can be changed by simply dragging one totem button onto another one. It will then be put before that.
You can assign two keys to each timer button: One key simply leftclicks the timer button so that you can recast a totem. The other opens that timer buttons totem bar. You can then cast a totem by using a number key (the totem buttons are marked accordingly). You can also assign a key to Totemic Call.
An additional tracker window has the following trackers: - Reincarnation timer - Water/Lightning Shield timer (leftclick to cast Lightning Shield, rightlick for Water Shield) - Earth Shield Counter (leftclick to cast Earth Shield on focus, rightclick on target,
middleclick on targettarget)
- Weapon Buff trackers (you can set the buffs you cast with lc and rc in the options menu)
You can set options using the /tt or /totemtimers command.
If you have no buff active your mainhand will get the buff.
If you have only one buff active the hand with no buff will get it.
If you have different buffs on your weapons and you cast one thats already on one of your weapons this one will get its duration back to 30 min.
If you have different buffs on your weapons and you cast one thats not on any of your weapons you will have to click on the weapon you want to buff.
If you have the same buff on both weapons the one with the least amount of time remaining will be set back to 30 min.
Ok, where can I find these rules so that I can better understand how it works. Of course, I'm currently running with WF on both weapons, so it's not a big issue, but it would be nice to understand the mechanics.
If you're dual wielding the left half of the weapon tracker displays the main hand weapon buff and the right half displays your buff on the off hand.
The config screen does not let you choose what to cast on main or off hand, it just lets you choose which buff is cast when you leftclick or rightlick the button. Which weapon gets this buff is subject to the same rules as if you would click a weapon buff on a normal action bar.
Anyway, my one request is to clean up the wording/function of the weapon buff button. It is a bit confusing when you're duel weilding as to which weapon gets which buff. Maybe change it to Main Hand/Off Hand instead of Left/Right (because my right hand is my main hand, but it's "left" on the config screen). Further, rockbiter doesn't seem to work at all for me (not that I use it much, but still).
After much investigation, a UI rebuild and a full reinstall - I have determined that the latest Totem Timers was the thing causing me to crash whenever I logged in. Something to do with a Texture assertion.
Xianghar ' Added options gui, open with /tt or /totemtimers - Added Lightning/Water Shield Tracker, leftclick to cast Lighning Shield, rightlick to cast Water Shield - Added Earth Shield Tracker, leftclick to cast on focus, rightclick to cast on target, middleclick to cast on targettarget - Added Main-/Off-Hand Weapon Buff Tracker, you can set the buffs cast with left and rightclick in the options gui - Readded Buff Style, only usable when Recasting is disabled - Removed many problems with invisible timers - While not in combat, a macro 'TT Cast' will be automatically created and updated which contains the current totem setup in a castsequence - TotemTimers will now add new learned totems on the fly - Added option to scale timer buttons and time text height - Added option to shout warnings in raid/party channel if you cast Mana Tide, Earth Elemental or Fire Elemental - Changed message colors - Changed the way recasting is disabled, timers should now be movable with disabled recasting - Settings are saved per character - Timers will flash in unison with Blizzard's buff display'
Spanish Translations coming soon, Needed to be added into the GUI.
Try using /tt reset - that should reset the position so you can move them...

First, my Air Totems won't bind to a key. The blizzard keybinding menus says it's bound, and my other totems bind, but my air totems won't do it. I can click them manually, but not with a key binding. Any advice?
And second (don't know if they're related) when I learn a new totem, why doesn't it get automatically added to the list? I have to log out and back in for it to load. Strange, no?
Thanks for looking into this!
EDIT: Don't know what I did, but it works perfectly now... Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!
Small problem. I read the FAQ, but I don't seem to be able to figure out how to put my Grace of Air totem into the Air portion of the bar. I see 5 things, like "Nature Resistance" and the like, but I can't get the ones I want.
Is there a limit of 5? If so, how do I switch them out? I click on the totem in my action bar, and the mod sees it, but I can't get it to permantently stick the list.
