Thanks...yea, hehe I am a bit of a raider. I went back and grabbed it from the old UI and messed with the setting till they were like the previous MookUi version...working perfectly. As a healer you might want more info but for a DPS like myself I just want to know if the raid is full and how many are still standing O_o.

Now, also as a warlock, there was a feature from the old UI I am missing which I really found useful and that was the dot duration that would pop up on the right of the screen and stack according to how many dots I had out there. I have tried dotimers but i don't think its what was in the old UI?? Was that a X-Perl feature?

Lastly, there are some issues with Fubar that might be out of your control but certain things just aren't working like the alchemy symbol...i click it and nothing happens.

LoL - Hiya Fizz.

Shouldn't be too difficult - though OzRaid is no longer in the current MookUI, you can still download it here:

http://wow.curse.com/en/files/details/3974/ozraid/

(Site seems down at the moment, but presumably it'll be back up ... if not, you can download one of the older MookUI versions and steal it out of there.)

Then from within Pitbull disable the raid frames (not sure of the exact commands, but if you type "/rock" and go to the Pitbull options, I'm sure it's bumping around somewhere).

And voila, you should be back in business.

I may end up going back to OzRaid frames if enough people hate the Pitbull layout - it just seemed a waste to have an AddOn solely for Raid frames when I only raid once every 8-9 months.

The 'FrameXML' errors turned out to be a conflict between Cartographer and EnhancedFlightMap ver. 2.04 (the version included in MookUI_09-28-2007) ... it was a known issue to the author, so if you are getting these errors please update your EnhancedFlightMap to version 2.05 to resolve them:

Unfortunately - afaik there's no way around setting up your own ArkInventory rules. Like, I have a small section where all my 'PvP' items go ... I right-clicked on each of those 8 pieces of gear while in ArkInventory edit mode and added them to my custom category 'PvP'. But you don't have those same 8 pieces of gear; same with my Mount section, etc.

I can't set it up for you because my characters aren't your characters - they have different items to work with (unless I'm missing something in ArkInventory).

Admittedly it does take a little time, but once your setup once you should be set ever after.

(P.S. oh, the section for 'New' items isn't really a section for new items ... it's just the default spots that are left after everything else is filtered. )

Great to hear [Dead]!

Couple of known issues that have become apparent as I've played the past few days:

1) Cartographer throws a number of 'FrameXML' errors when opened, even after a couple of updates. This doesn't seem to affect functionality, and all the errors are trapped in the bug sack, so I find it more of an annoyance than a problem.

2) The quest completion audio cues from both FuBar_QuestsFu and BayiExetendedQuestLog fail to play. However, as I am also having more general sound problems (as reported here by a lot of folks since the 2.2 patch: http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/th...Id=1778515969), I can't tell if the AddOns aren't playing the sounds, or if they are playing them but I just can't hear them.

3) The EnchantColor AddOn shows a single error upon logging in, but it's done that for months and doesn't seem likely to ever get updated.

Everything else seems to be fine - please let me know if you're experiencing any errors or unusual behavior I didn't mention.

just installed it (been waiting since patch lol) gotta say, i love it as much as the old version, maybe a little more. i like how the target frame is now with the characters in the center stretching from one end to the other, instead of on the left or right. i've set up my pet frames and bars (lock) and i changed all my bars to Lifetap i think its called, right under healbot, i heard bugsac go off once in the background but i didnt look to see wat had a problem, but so far so great, keep up the great work and updates.

Hiya Jimbo!

Thanks for the kind words, glad you find all these AddOns helpful.

I just got the 2.2 compliant version uploaded, let me know if you have any problems!

Unfortunately I can no longer offer a 'WTF' folder for any resolution other than 1440x900 widescreen, hopefully this won't be too much of a hurdle for users (the 'Interface' folder is still stuffed full with up-to-date and working AddOns, regardless of resolution).

thank you MOOK=)

hey--im a 42 y/o WoW junkie .... I started playing to share the game with my son...now i have 9 toons, 2 70's...and The best part of my gaming experience...i have found...are the differences in playing each toon...and all the proffesions...it all gets over whelming with the many different mats and recipes. It never gets old...now with BC...and the new Ice Wrath Lord or w/e, to come Your UI has enabled me to greatly personalize my UI for each toon. After the 2.2 patch...my UI and game play has gone poof! I have the attack icon showing up in every slot whenever i click on an NPC...equip compare is gone...which makes vendoring hard as well =( And the biggest problem is that I can barely download and alter my mods to rectify the confusion. I am SOOO thankful for your compilation and efforts to integrate all of the addons to the WoW interface. I am sure it is a very timely process...and I just wanted to thank you for your efforts and sharing of your compilation. I eagerly await your updated version for the new 2.2 WoW environment. I am on permanent disability, don't leave the house much, and thoroughly enjoy my toons, their world of responsibilities, and the challenges each region and quest provides...all enhanced for me by your UI setup. I Can't WAIT=)...ty again-------Jimbo

MookUI Status

Howdy Folks -

For anyone out there still using some version of MookUI, here's the current status.

I moved across the country a few weeks ago (literally - from the East coast to the West coast), and my internet connection wasn't up for a few weeks before *that*, so I haven't had stable 'net access for about 5-6 weeks (yes, that sucked very, very much).

Anyway, as of a couple days ago I'm back online with high-speed cable - I logged in to WoW and, much to my surprise, 99.5% of the MookUI AddOns were still working just fine!

Today, however, patch 2.2 was released by Blizzard, and now there's a whole lot of the usual patch-day fubar going on.

I think what I will do is wait a few days for the bulk of the AddOn problems to be rectified by the authors, and then start completely from scratch. This is kind of a mind-boggling chore, as there are 120+ AddOns in the compilation at this point - many of them are just sort of 'plug and play', but many more of them are not; they have to be updated, configured, and tweaked individually to match the way I like 'em.

I may get a little lazy and use old copies of 'SavedVariables' files for some of them (especially data mods, like Cartographer), we'll see how it goes - but in any case, it's a big project, it might take me a week or two to finish.

My best guess for release is sometime the second week of October (yes, 2007). Naturally I'll post any new info here.

Thanks for reading, and using MookUI. As always, the most current info can be found at the MookUI forums:

Hiya Krumb!

Sorry you're still having trouble.

With this new info, here's a couple things I can think of:

1) 'eePanels' might have an 'invisible' panel across the screen that's preventing clicks ... from the eePanels options (either slash commands, by typing '/eepanels', or by using FuBar's DeuceCommander) see if there are any panels with an Alpha set to 0 (transparent). If there is, up the Alpha so you can see it, then either delete or move it out of the way.

2) If not eePanels, the only other skinning type AddOn is Skinner ("/skinner" for options).

Please let me know how it goes, and good luck.

Hey Mook,

So about my previous problem, I've realize that ArkInventory wasn't actually the problem. The problem seems to lie with some sort of skin Addon maybe, because when I open SWStats, I have the exact same problem; The window opens but it's greyed out and I can't click on anything or use the window in anyway. It's like an invisible skin is blocking it. This problem also occurs with a couple other select Addons. Would you know of some type of Skin mod that could be interfering?

Thanks always,
Krumb

Re: Re: re: top left chat box

Thanks Mook I was able to get rid of that panel. I was also wondering if you have tried Deadly Boss Mods over Big Wigs. Some of the nice features for that are trash respawn times and auto tell replies so you’re not getting tell boxes popping up in the middle of raids. Other than that same deal informing you of all the boss's special abilities incoming.
