I'll try to get some Warsong Gulch in this weekend so I can see what's up with this. I know that the SimpleMinimap AddOn allows you to move the PvP objectives (right click the minimap, uncheck the 'locked' item) - maybe it got moved somewhere funky?
I don't believe it is at all possible to transfer reputation via UI files (or else folks with Exalted status rep would share out their WTF folder to everyone ).
Hopefully this was a one-time fluke you experienced, I've never seen anyone reporting something like this because of a UI.
Let me know if you continue to have problems though, meanwhile I'll see if I can learn anything new.
First and foremost, this UI has to be the best i ever saw , but i am curious. When you download a UI that someone else uses, do you also take on their char reputations and PVP also? The reason i ask is, I am on Alexstraza server, and i dont have any trouble entering horde towns. When downloaded this UI and used it, i was in Gagdeztan(sp?) and i wasnt even finished loading up wen i was attacked by bruisers .( the local goblin police force) . After getting my corpse, i was then attacked immediatly by alliance PCs, and died again. After getting my corpse a 2nd time , i was attacked again by alliance PCs. I got my corpse a 3rd time, went back to my usual UI , and was never touched by any Alliance or bruisers. Could it be possible, that i took on your chars rep and pvp files with this UI? Is there a way to remove those files and replace them with my own chars rep files?
I noticed that the pauses happen in 5 second intervals, right on the dot. I would hate to lose Xperl since its been my favorite forever. I will try posting on xperl's thread.

Hmm, thanks for mentioning - I've never noticed this issue, but then again, I don't really raid as much as a lot of folks (sort of like when a Rogue reports a Stealth issue or something and I'm like "Rogue? What the hell's a Rogue?").
Sounds like you've narrowed it down to XPerl Party though ... maybe I'll poke around for some sweet alternatives, or see if it's an XPerl setting that can be toggled off that's causing the lag bump.

My problem is I have periodic pauses for no more then 1 second. Only when I'm in groups. It happens other times, but that might be when I zone in somewhere and still loading. I have my memory usuage set to 0, that helped a lot. I have a nice computer with 2gig, dual core 2.4 intel, geforce 7900 gt. I don't think it should be doing it.
I think it could be a range checker, UberQuestLog, Xperl, or smart buff (might be more that I don't know about).
*Edit* I notice the pausing is more frequent and harsh when you have more people in the group. I turned off xperl party in the xperl menu and reloaded ui. Never froze up. But it went to blizzard unit frames so I dealt with the pausing to use xperl party.
I just wanted to let you know that, with any luck, I will be getting a new widescreen monitor sometime this week. This means my WoW resolution will be going from 1024x768 to 1440x900.
I wanted to give a heads up because this will likely affect the 'WTF' folders included in future updates.
I'm trying to find a way to make it easier to offer config files across a broader spectrum of resolutions and/or UI scales, but if that doesn't pan out I thought you all would like to know.

So far, today's patch (January 9th, 2007) doesn't seem to have broken too many of the AddOns in the MookUI collection - in fact, 'vBagnon' seems to be the only AddOn that needs to be completely disabled (until it is updated).
After downloading today's patch:
* Log in as normal
* Click the "AddOns" button in the lower left corner of the character selection screen
* Check the box to "Load out of data AddOns" (this should change the color of all AddOns from red/unusable to yellow/usable)
* Disable (uncheck) vBagnon, vBagnon_Forever, and vBagnon_Options
Hopefully this will take care of the majority of issues users of the MookUI collection might have. I'll try to get a MookUI update posted in the next couple of days, once more AddOn authors have had time to update their mods.
