The purpose of this mod is to help us sell the kind of items that we get most frequently: For example, you're fishing and loaded with raw fish or gray items.

How to use it:
As simple as going near a merchant and opening their trade window, then you can click on the sell button. By default it will sell all gray items and use no sell or save list.

Options:

Auto sell: Automatically sell the items when you open a vendor.
Information type: You can choose from all to lite the output of the addon.
Show detail: Shows a profit detail of each item.
Use list: Activates the use of sell and save lists.
Show list: Prints the contents of the sell and save lists.
Add item: Adds an item to the sell or save list.
Del item: Deletes an item from the sell or save list.
Reset sell list: Clears the sell list.
Reset save list: Clears the save list.

Using sell/save lists:
With sell and save lists you can personalize which items you want to sell or save. They work as a filter in which you can add the complete name of the items you want to sell/save or part of the name. Here are some examples:

Example #1: You're leveling fishing skill and you're tired of having to sell each fish stack one by one. You can add the word Raw to the sell list and all the uncooked fish will be sold when you push the button. This is because all normal uncooked fish start with the word Raw, so the addon searches for them and sells them for you.
Example #2: You have a fabulous gouging pick poor quality item, but you don't want to sell it. You can add the name of the item to the save list and when you sell all your poor quality items, your pick will remain with you.

Important: Be careful when using part of the item name instead of all the name. For example if you add Basilisk to the sell list, it will sell ALL items that have that word. And remember to have activated the option use list if you want to use sell and/or save lists!

Right now I just use a macro to do this, but I love the way yours shows the info in the chat window. (not to mention the sell button!) Thanks!

Sell-O-Matic for myself and Auto profit for my girlfriend. I wanted different sell list as I don't want to have one of us add something that another might want. Autoprofit has a profile system but it was very buggy ... keep deleting the item lists after creating or selecting a profile. So now I use both.... problem solved. I know yours has one too but this way was easier than setting up profiles ... this way my girlfriend does not need to set up the addon either ... although I usually set up her new characters for her. The only real reason I like the tooltip was sometime chat in places like IF can get very busy or I may not have my chat on. The thing you ask for is the same that AutoProfit and AutoProfitX have, I dont really know if its necessary to add it since it will tell you when you sell the items... still I will think about it.

I've uploaded the new version (0.4c) that adds support for links, you can add item links directly and it will sell them! To delete items from the list, you have to do the following: Type "/som show" to show the list of items. You will see each item has a number before the name, for example [2] = Raw. If you wanna delete it, you have to type "/som remove #", where "#" is the number of the item. Visual example: 1) First you need to know whats on the list, so you type "/som show" You see the list with each item number in [ ]. 2) You search the item you wanna delete (for example Pizza) and you type "/som delete 4", the number of the item (not the name). If you do a "/som show" again you will see that item has been deleted and the list is now reordered. Last edited by Silmano : 02-04-2007 at 04:23 PM.

Thank you for making/update this addon... i love it If i Add an item with shift+click on the item to write into chat, it is in the list, but the addon dont sell the item on merchant. (if i add the name in the list, he does) when i delete an item on the list, i become this error: Fehler: bad argument #2 to 'remove' (number expected, got string) AddOn: SellOMatic Datei:SellOMatic.lua Zeile:115 Fehler Nummer:1 Can you fix this error pls? and is it possible that i can instant write the name into chat, i take the link from the item? Sorry for my Bad english. im a stupid german. Cya Maxx4u
