Will ItemRackFu still work with this version? Will ItemRackFu be updated any time soon?

It won't, sorry. It should be a relatively easy fix. I'll look at what's required.

I found one minor bug that will be fixed in next update: When you enable TrinketMenu Mode, it initially doesn't appear to work. Check Anchor to Other Trinket (and then uncheck if you want to anchor it to slot 13) and it will then work.

Liking the new features (not liking that I couldn't import the old layouts though ) though I'm not entirely sure what the icons are for.

One thing I'm not sure is intended is the scaling of the Button Scale and Menu Scale. Dropping the Button Scale also drops the scale of the button menus...as does Menu Scale. So if you go .5 button scale, and .5 menu scale... swapping out items gets a titch hard (very, very tiny)

Perhaps give the item selector menus their own independent scale?

I just switched to 2.0-beta from 1.99 and so far everything is cool, but...
I have a set where ItemRack unequips my weapons, a set where it equips Benediction and a set where it equips Will of Arlokk.
When I have some weapon equipped and I change to any of those three sets, everything works as expected (e.g. it unequips my staff/wand or it equips the correct staff).
When I have no weapon equipped and try to switch to the Benediction or the Will of Arlokk set it places the weapon at my mouse pointer; clicking on the wrong place would delete the item.
So why isn't ItemRack correctly equipping my weapon, when I have no weapons equipped?

On another note: It seems positions of buttons are not saved, e.g. hiding and showing resets a button to the center of the screen.

so far so good, another winner, ive been waiting to get my hands on this badboy for a while, all's well so far 'cept for ItemRackFu not working for set swapping (tho i reckon an easy fix)
looks to be sweetness from what i can see so far, another stellar mod Gello. cheers man.
cant wait to see whats in the next version (maybe my skinning set will actually work again)
*side note, just thought of this, is there a way to trigger an event, swap set, preform action, swap to old set? i think i used to use that in my old Evocation event but it's been a while.
again, awesome work man, cheers

Item Recognition

i see in ur notes that u now setup ItemSets with out swaping out gear...

seems to be a glitch here:
IR dosn't seem to recognize anything expt what's allready in the ItemSet or what is equiped.

for example -I play a druid - i have 3 idols , IR only seems to recognize the one i have equiped. then when i save the set - and equip another one - it sees a 2nd idol and makes it avail but only when it's equiped.

Eh.

Well, after using ItemRack 2.0, I immediately went back to 1.9.

Itemrack's buttons no longer overlap Bartender 3. This was annoying for me, since I kept the buttons over a couple of blank buttons on my top bar (with two buttons surrounding the itemrack buttons).

Being able to define size was nice, but while the manual resize of 1.9 was hard to use, atleast I could get a wider variety of sizes instead of .05 increases/decreases. I couldn't get them to fit in their same old spot.

Last is a feature request. I would absolutely kill if you could add dreamlayout as a style for the buttons. Oh how badly I want that. Maybe, if you did that, you could add an option to include the green 'equipped' border around the buttons as well? I want it to look identical to my other Bartender3 buttons, including that. I have a custom way of swapping out trinkets. I basically have a small bar with trinkets on them, left clicking puts it in the top slot and right clicking puts it in the right, and I use the itemrack buttons for activation.

Anyway, there's you some feedback.

Works good. My only issue is that when you stack buttons vertically, they still pop out vertically. In 1.9, when the bar was vertical they popped out horizontally.

Dreamlayout would be wonderful .

I am seeing the same behavior. It's probably already fixed but just in case: I think this is something to do with the 2H weapon routine. In ItemRackEquip.lua in function ItemRack.IterateSwapList(setname) when you are under the statement:
if select(3,ItemRack.GetInfoByID(swap[i]))=="INVTYPE_2HWEAPON" then
there is a difference with the regular weapons swapping on slots 16 and 17 as you are not clearing the swap stack. It may be missing a
swap[16]=nil
swap[17]=nil
after line 155 which would cause the problem on the swapping second pass.
I am far from 100% sure this is it, but it should be something close.

Thanks for bringing ItemRack back!

Scaling: The menu scale is in relation to the frame it docks to as you've noticed. It's expected behavior the way the menu docks to different parts of the UI. Generally, the minimap and character sheet buttons (and plugin soon) will be a scale of "1". The buttons are the ones that will likely be a different scale.

Weapon swap problems: Thanks for the info. Going to look at these tonight.

Events: Currently events won't run in this. I may in fact hold off until 2.1 for events. I'd like to make sure the equip swap is rock solid before introducing the nightmare of automatic set swaps.

Item recognition glitch: I'll see if I can pin down someone to help me test relics. I'm going under the assumption that they are identical to range items to the UI but it could be wrong.

Buttons no longer overlapping Bartender: There were complaints on TrinketMenu that OmniCC was drawing cooldowns too low, so I lowered the frame strata. I'll raise it again since it appears the latest OmniCC raised the text.

Resize: I do miss the resize grip on the bar, but really due to the button nature it didn't lend itself well to it.

Dreamlayout: I've seen this mentioned before. What is dreamlayout?

Vertical buttons: Drag the menu to the side and right-click the edge of the menu to rotate it. There are definitely a lot more ways to set up the bar/menu in this one.

2h swap: I think you're on to something there Kaomie I'll look in that direction thanks!

Dreamlayout is a button style that basically puts the pictures of the buttons over what seems to be a partially transparent black background. It looks very clean and is easy to arrange. Bartender3 has it, my bar mod of choice.

Ok, fair enough, put put in a tooltip or something (e.g. scale relative to...)

I tried to add the 2 lines and it did not solve it, so there is something else. Maybe the swapping is reversed like from equip to bag instead of bag to equip, so when there is already something equipped it does not make a difference, but when there is nothing it does not know what to replace with the actual 2H. I'll have another look.
