Nameplates Modifier  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: r20091227
by: Shadowed [More]
Nameplates Modifier is meant to be a simple, well nameplate modifier. This lets you do basic things, such as hiding the cast and health borders and the elite indicators, as well as changing the status bar texture, text settings of level/names/cast bars can be changed including font, font size, font outline, shadow and all that fun stuff. Includes text inside the health and cast bars, that lets you see things such as, time left, current health, etc etc etc.

This is not going to let you change every single nameplate option.

Slash commands: /nameplates (/np shorthand)

Would there be anyway to thicken or make the aggro "glow" bigger that surrounds the nameplate?

I really love having the glow effect to help with aggro when tanking, but having it be slightly more pronounced and easier to see would be great.

Would this be something that would be easy to implement or perhaps something I could change in one of the .lua files?

as posted on git----
The toggle option to hide the "golden dragon" elite indicator that was added in 3.1 does not work anymore in 3.2. The elite indicator still shows up.

I wanted to throw a vote in for text offset/alignment control. If I could put the name inside the health bar (ala Aloft, but without all the bloat, errors, performance issues, etc) I'd be thrilled.

If there any chance of getting the code for hp%? Im configuring for my UI, but i feel like a default for it (so you don't have to change profile for a new char), since what i miss about a "low-mem" nameplate addon is it's showing off hp%.
It's an option already? Cast/Health Text section, Health Text Display.

edit: Complain to Blizzard that they broke class colors in nameplates. Addon authors shouldn't have to fix broken things in the default UI.

Spellname

Would it be possible to add Spellname on the casting bar?
Possibly on a separate frame for instance NPText2 or such.. so that I can place name on the left and time on the right...

This is the only feature I'm missing right now... GREAT WORK!!! and Thankyou~~~

I'm pretty sure Blizzard broke it, since even with disabling this mod I can't get class coloring to show up, but anyway that's a Blizzard problem not mine.

I'm also having problems with showing class colours in the nameplates. I have made sure that the option is checked in my wow ui, but everything still shows up blue/green

Made the switch from Aloft to this. Only thing I'm missing is having class-colored health-bars. Any hope off adding this?
