DoubleWide 

So...any news on fixing the taint & block problems?

Kudane, thank you for the reply. I found a sloutlion by simply downloading NDragIt from this site. I can now have both the macro window open as well as the quest window with DoubleWide enabled by allowing me to drag the windows around to have both open at once, as long as I minimize Lightheaded.

I did by the way send a suggestion to Blizzard about being able to click+link a quest title into the macro so we wouldn't have to do this manually.

I will attempt to download the current version, I downloaded the version I have no only a few days ago.

I should have checked to see if this was already posted.

Try removing ANY other addons that effect the quest log. I am betting the issue is there. As quoted above, that looks like another addon that could be causing your issue to bleed into DWQL.

Iriel already caught it and corrected it, so all is good.

Kud, that worked! One of you guys should re-up the .zip with a corrected index just so no one else has this problem (don't know why I didn't check, noob mistake on my part). Thanks a bunch, works great now!

I'll watch for errors and post a taint if anything goes wrong. I used to write EQL updates; real life kept me from it, and now I'd rather just use yours -- so keep up the good work!

After updating my mods (DoubleWide included), I was getting an odd error sometimes after killing a mob. Wouldn't happen always, just sometimes.

Then, after clearing Cache and even removing some less needed mods, I used the "/console taintLog 1" command to create a taint.log file.

Any help on this issue? The game works fine if I use that command as I won't get the error but it will be silently logged instead, but ideally, I'd want to get rid of it completely...

It works fine in 2.3 both Iriel and I have tested it. Check for double folders (i some how nested in an extra folder) make sure it's "Interface/AddOns/DoubleWide/xxxx (files)" It should NOT be "Interface/AddOns/DoubleWide/DoubleWide/xxxx (files)".

I love this mod; I can almost not play without it; and it doesn't even show up in the list with 2.3. PLEASE FIX IT!

See my reply below, it may answer your question (which is "no it is not possible with this mod"). Of course he and/or I could always make some tweaks and releasing it as "doublewide deluxe" or something. But for *this* mod, it is not possible.

Then I would recommend not using Doublewide. It is specifically designed for those who play on larger monitors where both windows side by side do not take up the entire screen.

While I understand the idea for customizing the alpha and such, doublewide is intentionally "option free" and "bells/whistle free" As described, it is a simple concept, and if it does not work for you, there are many more robust quest addons out there.

dont understand why the addon doesnt appear in my addon lists in-game on the character select screen?? know anything.

I love doublewide but now 2.3 screwed things up I cant use it

I also found a lot of taint problems from DoubleWide. Let me know if you need to see my taint log.

Is there an alternative addon to this one?

Can this zip be updated to have less irritating folder path within it? It's currently nested in DoubleWide-0.7-20300\Doublewide
