Sizeup Gizmo Redone
Version: 2.0.1
by: Detritis [More]

Full credit to Chester for his outstanding work on the original
Original can be found here:- http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info4029-SizeUpGizmo.html

Changes & Updates
+Version 2.0.1
* Additions:-
- Added options frame for easier setup (/sug options)
- Expanded Buffs to 16 slots
- Expanded Debuffs to 32 slots
- Added option to support either MObHealth3 or MobInfo
- Complete rewrite of the combat system, which I feel is more balanced. The old method can still be selected from the options menu.
* Fixes and Updates:-
- Updated toc to current
- Fixed issue with party members health being incorrectly displayed.

Original Blurb
==FEATURES==
SUG gives you a moveable frame with an animated slider that gives you a bit of an indication of how the fight is going or might go. More importantly, it shows you and your oppoents health and mana in big bright bars with big numbers. It also shows some additional info about you and your target as well as gives you the DPS you are taking and an estimated average of how long you have to live (just for fun).

By default, SUG will not show at all. If you have a target selected, it will give you a 'mini' version which displays the slider and the 'SizeUp' icon of how it thinks the fight might go. When you are in combat, SUG expands to show its full info.

DISCLAIMER:
Don't use the SizeUp slider to judge if you will win a fight or not. I don't take a whole lot of things into consideration that could potentially affect the outcome of a fight. Things I do not take into account are (but are not limited to): player skill, items used, armor, buffs, skills used, lag, bad framerate, dirty paladins, filthy shamans, the weather, alignment of the moons, etc.

I've been using this for so long and find it very useful to me, so I thought others may find it useful as well.

NOTES:
Credit for some of the original code contained in this mod goes to me friend LOD. This is the first mod

I ever made and I learned to script making this with help from LOD. Thanks.

i've tried both settings and i personally prefer the new calculations. The old one seems to always say that everything i encounter is 'instant death' (ie. i don't stand a chance) and never shows that i'm actually going to win (skull in the center) even if it's very apparent. The new calcs seem to give more reasonable feedback.

just my two cents... [ awesome addon by the way, keep up the good work ]

New v Old

Hi All,

i just want to get some feedback on what you guys think of the new combat ratings compared to the old combat ratings.

The 2 versions can be selected by going into the options panel (/sug options) and toggling the 'New Calculations' button on/off

Basically I would just like to know if you think it is more balanced, less balanced, whether you think its complete rubbish or whatever else you can think of.

Re: Error

Hi Mindleglalaxy,

The error is fixed in the next version which I hope to upload shortly.

Until then you can adjust the scale and anything else you want by using the new options frame with /sug options

Regards

Exclamation Error

Hi,

Getting this error when I try to change the scale:

["message"] = "SizeUpGizmo\\SizeUpGizmo.lua:475: 'string.gfind' was renamed to 'string.gmatch'\nSizeUpGizmo\\SizeUpGizmo.lua:475: in function `SizeUpGizmo_SlashCommand'\nSizeUpGizmo\\SizeUpGizmo.lua:125: in function `value'\nInterface\\FrameXML\\ChatFrame.lua:3094: in function <Interface\\FrameXML\\ChatFrame.lua:3043>:\n<in C code>: in function `ChatEdit_ParseText'\nInterface\\FrameXML\\ChatFrame.lua:2821: in function `ChatEdit_SendText':\nInterface\\FrameXML\\ChatFrame.lua:2842: in function `ChatEdit_OnEnterPressed':\n<string>:\"ChatFrameEditBox:OnEnterPressed\":2: in function <[string \"ChatFrameEditBox:OnEnterPressed\"]:1>\n\n ---",
["type"] = "error",
["time"] = "2007/03/02 11:59:05",
["session"] = 77,
["counter"] = 1,

I have tried to change it in Saved Var file but won't change either for some reason?

Thanks
