If a fix isn't updated here on wowinterface, then download the source from github.

If the checkboxes are not responding for you, open the HatTrick.lua file and add the following lines below the corresponging calls to SetToplevel.
This may not be the correct way to fix it, but it works for me.

Any chance of updating this mod for the latest version of Cata? would be great i sure do miss this little add on its nice to be able to shut off some of the ugliest helms in the game lol.

The reason for the errors is that it's using "self" in the functions, and that's no longer allowed. I don't know why this wasn't fixed when the .toc was updated. To fix it, replace the "self" calls with the name of the check box that's being created; i.e. GameTooltip:SetOwner(HelmCheckBox, "ANCHOR_RIGHT") instead of GameTooltip:SetOwner(self, "ANCHOR_RIGHT"). GameTooltip:SetOwner(CloakCheckBox, "ANCHOR_RIGHT") for the other one. So far as I've used it, it works perfectly after this change.

hattrick makes it imposisble to switch some titles, since i always get the hatrick checkbox cursor for headslot instead of the title switch klick.

edit: ok, when u klick the title at the very right end it doesnt interfere

Tekkub's github contains a newer revision of one of HatTrick's files (namely HatTrick.lua), which refers to this issue (mentioned by LostOne beneath) and doesn't render the game natives' cloak/helmet check-boxes inert any more.

HatTrick still works one way or the other. It's just that you can't rely on those check-boxes in the interface options with 3.0.1.1, but if you don't use them anyway this doesn't matter.

I really like this addon, but was curious if the bug you mention on the front page got fixed and if this addon was ever going to get an update?

With it being so outdated it is unlikely to pick up new users.
