Contemplate (Combat Nameplates)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v3.0
by: Aeyan [More]

Contemplate is a very simple AddOn designed to enable enemy nameplates automatically in combat and hide them when not.

There is no configuration necessary, just install and you're good to go.

v3.0 -- Bumping the toc 4 years later. Seems to still work, hehe.

v2.4 -- Everything seems to be in working order with the addon, so toc'ing it current. Check the addon page for a special note about nameplate function in 4.0.1.

v2.3 -- Haven't noticed any trouble with the new patch, so just a toc bump.

v2.2 -- Another gratuitous toc bump.

v2.1 -- Knocked the toc up a notch.

v2.0 -- Updated for 3.0 (Now with cvars!)

I haven't had this problem. Only way I can replicate this is if I manually turn them on before I log out and even then, they're disabled after being in combat for the first time.

Well, that's a real drag! I am so used to Contemplate doing its thing. Maybe someone will figure out another way to do it... I hope.

Hitting "V" still toggles them on and off. There must be a way.

"Works with 2.4"

The TOC still says 20300.

Actually, I did toggle it. Might just take a little while.

Edit: Ah, there it goes.

Yeah, dumb mistake on my part while slapping it together. Uploading again as we speak to fix that.

Create a subdirectory called Contemplate in your Interface\AddOns\ folder, and unzip the archive there.

I have a kinda newb question here - where do I put the files? in my Interface/addOns folder, or in the WTF folder? (this is probably very obvious to everyone except me)

Thanks
Nao
