    LightHeaded is a very simple addon that displays quest information and comments from http://www.wowhead.com in game, eliminating the need to Alt-Tab when you get stuck on quest. This addon was inspired by qcomments and wowhead_quests, which both serve a similar purpose. Data is only loaded when you first request it, so you can be sure you're not using more memory than you need to.

    I HIGHLY suggest using this addon with TomTom, another one of my addons (http://www.wowinterface.com/download...32-TomTom.html ). This allows you to simply click any coordinate in LightHeaded to add it to your map as a waypoint.

    The following slash commands are valid:
    • /lh attach - Attaches the frame to the quest log
    • /lh detach - Detaches the frame, allows you to resize and move it
    • /lh sound - Toggles the open/close sound
    • /lh page - Toggles showing all comments on one page, or with multiple pages
    • /lh bgalpha <0.0-1.0> - Changes the alpha of the LH window background textures, so you can see the world.
    • /lh debug - Enables or disabled debug messages when loading quest databases
    • /lh config - Opens the LightHeaded configuration window
    • /lh autodetails - Toggle automatic opening of the Lightheaded window when clicking a quest in the objective tracker

    LightHeaded now includes the English descriptions and introductory text for most of the quests in the game. This is disabled by default, but can be enabled for those players that are not playing in their native locale.

    LightHeaded supports sending coordinates to TomTom, MapNotes, Cartographer2 and Cartographer3.

    IMPORTANT: Addon authors that wish to use this API and data should
    include the wowhead logo in the frame that displays this information.
    They are kind enough to let me continue parsing their database, and we
    owe them at least that much. Thank you.

    Sadly I cannot use this now
    My FPS went from 89-90 to 1 after I had installed this. Sadly, although I used it happily for years, it must go and I will return to having wowhead open when it is needed.

    I'm having a very similar issue although not exactly. On all my characters when I load in and click on a quest in the Objectives window it will load the correct quest and comments from WoWhead. When I close that quest window (clicking X in the Blizzard quest window frame) and click on a new quest in the Objective window it will again open it correctly. However when I close that window and click on a third quest it will show me the name and comments from the previous (second) quest window. It will remain stuck on that quest until I log out and reload. It makes no difference whether they are Legion quests or older pre-7.0 ones, the same thing happens. I get no errors on login from any addons although I do have quite few installed.

    P.S. Thank you very much for your efforts on this wonderful addon. Especially in the badly described Legion quests the comments on WoWhead are invaluable!
    Update >> Strangely enough, today it's working perfectly even though I restarted my computer twice yesterday after installing the update. I can't explain it but I'm pleased it's functioning again Thank you.

    Yes, sorry. I just open the game and enter my realm. On the quest tracker on the right side of the screen I click on a quest title to open LH. LH opens to the proper quest. I use data in LH to complete the quest and proceed to net quest. If I click the new quest title on the quest tracker on the right of the screen LH opens to whatever page was last viewed and not the quest I just clicked on the quest tracker.

    The same thing happens to me. Whenever I click a quest from the Blizzard quest tracker that stays on the screen during play. The first time I click a quest I get the one I clicked. If I click a different quest from the UI tracker I get the original quest. The blizzard quest pane shows the correct quest I clicked. The LH window shows the previous quest info. I have to either manually enter the quest name or /reload.

    Minor annoyance for such an awesome addon.

    That's good, I can make that change

    Not sure if LH window not opening with the "huge" map/quest log that Blizzard implemented awhile back is a bug or not. I can't remember exactly when they made that change (which I never cared for anyway so I usually just click the quest in the quest objective tracker.
    There's basically no way to do this in a sane way right now, so I've stopped trying. There's still /lh show will can cause it to be shown. The current map has too many different modes that vary on screen size and other configuration and its driving me insane, honestly.

    I want to add my thanks for continuing to keep LH working. I've used it for years and love having it available again. At my age, the old memory isn't exactly sharp anymore so sometimes I need to look up older quests to remember exactly what I should do even though I've done every older zone countless times with all my alts
