oApplication is a small add-on which is designed to make it easier and faster to enchant temporary enchants on your weapons.
As of version 1.1 oApplication is no longer limited to the default in-game bags, but has universal support for basically every type of 'item display' add-on there is.
Usage:
Hold down <Alt> and mouse over the item you want to enchant one of your weapons with. If oApplication finds a valid item under your cursor, it will show a sparkling frame around the item it found. You can now decide which weapon you enchant by which mouse button you use when you click on it. The left mouse button is your main hand weapon, and the right mouse button is your off hand. The spark will disappear when you release your <Alt> key and the original functionality of the button will return.
Note:
If you have any problems with oApp and other add-ons, please let me know and I will look into it.
The baggins issue was fixed on revision 35903.
Changes from 1.8:
* Database update.
Changes from 1.7:
* Updated to work on 3.0.x.
Changes from 1.6:
* Database update (hopefully fixes the missing stuff).
Changes from 1.5:
* No longer does an unnecessary call to OnShow. (Basically it prevents addons that still use the pre-2.0 solutions from breaking.)
Changes from 1.4:
* Database update.
Changes from 1.3:
* Interface version set to 2.4
* No longer prevents bag add-ons from showing/hiding in combat.
* License changed from Revised BSD to MIT.
Changes from 1.2:
* The add-ons functionality is now disabled at the mailbox.
One major issue, though. Any chance we could get a (minimal) option to change the key bind used to start the buff process from ALT? Several mods use ALT for various things.
The major conflict I've found so far is with mail mods that use ALT as a quick-send button. Try to ALT-click a weapon buff item to quick-send to someone and the send won't work. Not only that, it will start to buff a weapon you are holding (as its designed to do, but is inappropriate when trying to quick-send something in the mail, of course). Have had to disable the mod due to this issue.
As there is more than one mail mod that uses ALT for quick-send (Postal, PriorityMail & so on), am asking about implementing a key bind change for oApplication. Thanks.
I'll upload a version that prevents the functionality when you are at the mailbox, just like it already does with the trade, bank and merchant frame. I believe none of the mail mods actually replace it. If it's still an issue I'll add the functionality.
After I've applied something, I can no longer open my bags while in combat. I use Bagnon. I haven't tried with the default bag UI, but someone else just posted on the wowace forums saying it happens with OneBag as well. It also just occurred to me as I was typing this that I don't know if it also prevents clicking a bag button to open bags, since I don't have any bag buttons and use a keybind. :P

I'll test Bagnon and see what I can find, it doesn't happen with the default UI however.
Originally posted by wnhan Please update this addon, as its probably the best addon ive seen (except for it beeing buggy and a bit unstable)
Best regards
And those bugs and instabilities would be what? It still works.

Using the default bag UI with oAppplication (file dates: Nov 13/07 from your Git repo), I did get a taint error as well as have the bags be unable to be closed after opening them in combat until combat was over (using FuBar_BagFu). Here's the error:

This has never happened on characters where I have not had oApplication active (only recently started using it again after ditching WeaponRebuff). Could always open bags & close bags in combat without a problem. Will see if the behavior has changed with v1.4.
Originally posted by haste Wouldn't the logic action be to test 1.4 and then post a bug report here ?
Also 1.3 would break all add-ons that did open/close the bags, so BagFu would make it not open/close in combat.
Was following up with testing experiences that were different than you had mentioned for v1.3. So that if there was any carry-over behavior with third-party bags/the default UI in v1.4, it might help narrow down the issue.
Blessed Weapon Coating (item:34538) and Righteous Weapon Coating (item:34539) are missing from the list of items oApplication recognizes as temporary weapon enchants.

I'll do a scrap of weapon buffs on Monday, most likely a bunch missing now. The current list is from 2007/04/11 .

Since adding the new updated version 1.6, when I ALT and Mouse-Over my poisons, some of them don't highlight anymore (Crippling and Mind Numbing). I switched back to 1.5 and it is still broken now. Any ideas how to fix this?
