Beyond all the great uses that are intended, I have also found a great comedic value by replacing certain guild members names with sarcastic comments, or by replacing oft used acronyms with better definitions (ex. right now i have LOL showing as Laughs Like a Chicken) Keeps me laughing during the grind...

I first created this addon for the filtering features, based on an old addon I wrote then for use with guildies I added some more features. I have decided to go through the other chat addons and implement some of the more popular features and will add this one to the list.

It was the squelch filter, and I am back to using it now...thank you so much... do you have a guide created on all of the trinity chat settins, most i can figure out but the interface screen is a little confusing...would be nice to have something to look out that walked you through a few examples of how to update/change certain things and what each thing on there specifically did.

Do you happen to have the squelch filter enabled under the channel name "Whisper"?

Or are you using any other chat addons? If you are I can d/l them and test for conflicts.

ok color is working for incoming stuff, outgoingk, still shows color of game interface, i can live with that..
but when someone tries to send me an actual "WHISPER" i can here a beep notification that they did it, but it wont show up, and yes the whisper channel is active in the main game interface... i can send a whisper and they receive it, i just cant see theirs why??? if i shut trinity chat off, it works ,, or if i use mumble addon it works... but not with trinity chat... and yes i have mumble deactivated when using trinity chat, and i have trinity care installed too..

I just uploaded v20100.5, it has a fix related to whispers, but not sure if it was causing your problem, let me know if it helps.
