MrHabanero A Kobold Labourer Forum posts: 0 File comments: 8 Uploads: 0	not working when i have this active, i cant even receive incoming messages from people... and if change the color for a particular channel, and then hit update, it says that channel is updated but it still keeps the color that is assigned through the main game interface? ok color is working for incoming stuff, outgoingk, still shows color of game interface, i can live with that.. but when someone tries to send me an actual "WHISPER" i can here a beep notification that they did it, but it wont show up, and yes the whisper channel is active in the main game interface... i can send a whisper and they receive it, i just cant see theirs why??? if i shut trinity chat off, it works ,, or if i use mumble addon it works... but not with trinity chat... and yes i have mumble deactivated when using trinity chat, and i have trinity care installed too.. Hehe, currently those two addons have no configurability and only behave how I want them to. I will get to the others when TrintyBars is settled a bit

You are right, it is some legacy code in TrinityCore that helped fixed some issues with TrinityBars, but it is no longer needed and I forgot to remove it. It is removed and I will update soon.

I double checked that it was catching the officer channel and on my side it is. I have not tesed TrinityChat too much with other chat addons, so if you are using any other ones that deal in any way with chat, let me know what they are and I will load them up and check it out. I do know of one small bug with wow instant messenger in that the very first message is not filtered due to the way wim processes the first message.

Only other suggestion I have is to email me the savedvariable file for the character you are trying to use the addon on to trinityui@comcast.net

File is found here:

I did that, I tried testing it in my officer channel. The other officers typed out messages with the abbreviations, etc. But, it didn't change anything. It didn't squash the caps either. I will try to figure out what I am doing wrong. If not I will be back here bugging you.

Sorry, my fault by leaving the minimap button disabled by default. Easiest way to correct without is log in with TrinityBars turned off, type /trinity to bring up the menu, enable minimap button in the TrinityCore tab, then log out.

Next upload will correct this, however if you already have Trinity loaded, the option to have the minimap hidden is already saved.

When I get TrinityBars updated, this will not be an issue as /trinity will only bring up Trinity's main menu for all Trinity addons.
