SpartanUI is designed to free your screen by moving a majority of the interface elements to the bottom. It is the new look for World of Warcraft. Created by Ansu of Dalaran (aka Atriace) and maintained by Beladona. This is an original design developed through painstaking effort and the help of users and fans at spartanui.com;
Notes

Features
* Uses very little third-party code in an effort to remain self-contained
* Almost zero-setup allows you to install and use it without tons of configuration
* Support for almost any screen resolution, while favoring widescreen
* SpinCam™ provides a spinning camera effect when AFK
* FilmEffects™ which provide film-like grain effects on your screen
* Designed to use very little processor time or memory
* All original artwork with high-res textures and 1:1 ratio for 30" displays
* Built in reputation and experience bars with details via tooltip
* Integrated coordinates and zone information
* UnitFrames that fit in with the overall design
Also Included
Bartender4 which provides the action bars used in this suite. Positioning is pre-configured for you, although you may still tweak the positioning by switching profiles in Bartender4. You may disable Bartender4 and use another action bar addon if you so desire, however you MUST use something, as SpartanUI disables the default MainMenuBar.
oUF provides the base code used in SpartanUI_PlayerFrames and SpartanUI_PartyFrames. In order for them to operate you must also have oUF enabled. If you do not use them you may disable oUF. Additional oUF plugins are available, but may not be supported by the developers of SpartanUI, so use them at your own risk.

Originally posted by brosum First of all this is an amazing UI, one of the easiest I have ever been able to set up and actually worked. I am using it on two separate computers right now, one being a laptop, which I am having trouble with.
The screen resolution on the laptop is 1024x768 which is listed as supported. When I install it though the setup places everything correctly but everything is much to small to play with and all the boxes and texts are much to small to read.
Is there anyway to make it bigger so the buttons do not appear so small? I wouln't mind moving the chat boxes either to make room for them.
Thanks again for the mod, and hopefully somebody can help.
I've got the same problem. It's really hard to read in like the quest log too. I've downloaded a font mod to make them bigger, and noticed a mod in the pack to re-size quest log/inventory ect windows. So hopefully I'll be able to sort that out. You can use bartender to re-size the pictures, but unfortunatly they don't fit with the background. I'm going to try to re-size everything tomorrow and shift everything around. After that I'll re-port it here so the original creator can upload it to make it easier for people with our res. Assuming it works that is
Edit: Okay, I can move the map/resize, I can make the tooltip and action bars bigger. The only thinng I'm having problems with is the portraits. I can't seem to move them/resize them and the same thing goes with mana and health bars. Hopefully someone can help me out so more people can use this great mod.

First off I have to say this is the best UI I have ever tried, and will continue to use it over the others! I have added a few addons and what not and have no problems.
I do have one hopefully simple question. I was using Skinner to configure the frames to look like the main menu frame (w/ the black background). Everything looks great, but I was wondering if it's possible to remove the character portrait in the upper left corner on some of the frames (I.E. your own character's frame). With the new skin for the frames some text lays on top of the portait which is pretty annoying. I was wondering if you knew anything about this, because it looks like Skinner does not have an option for it.
Love the mod, and it really does feel like this UI should have been the default UI for the game. Keep up the amazing work!
Originally posted by Mourngrymn I mean the mini map not the normal cartography sized map. I run my screen as wide and as high as it will go. 16 x 10 or 16 x 9.5 wide or whatever. Should I just remove the entire thing and begin fresh?
i mean the minimap also lol.the addon is called simpleminimap.all you have to do is right click on it for options like i said
Originally posted by moondoggy ok its kinda weird since my party frames are in the lower corner already like SS but if yours isn't you can do /duf and unlock frames and drag them to where you like.as far as map that too is easy just right click on it and unlock it and move it,resize, change shape, lots of options there

for the chat bars what i have done since all the computers i use have a 1024x768 the space provided is to small, so i brought it just up above it and expanded so it takes up the screen edge to the player frames and this works just fine for me.
Love your UI, only person ive seen who used savied varibles instead of WTF folder, but i must say makes it much easier not having to go in and change names, and make sevral folders for all the realms and charcters you play(i do a lot of character hopping)
Originally posted by Mourngrymn I have two issues.
1) When I am in a group or raid and I go to loot a body I can not loot it unless I move the loot box as it clicks on the character icon behind it. I can loot when I move the loot box by left clicking or selecting loot on mouse in the Interface options. Any ide on how to fix this or move the group icons to the bottom like in the screenshots.
2) Somehow I managed to move the map back ot its original position and can not find a way to move it back to center. Any idea on how to fix this?

First let me say I love your UI. I have only experience one problem. When I go to move my tool tips where I want no dock appears. All too tips of players or mobs default to the middle of my screen, while signs show int he lower right corner. I have went to /ct to try and move them but it doesn't work, the anchor does not show.
I tried a clean install deleted my wtf folder and my interface folder same problem. Any help or suggestions would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.
