No... as someone who plays a tank, a healer, and two damage dealers on a regular basis, I see absolutely no value in that information presented in that way. As a tank or damage dealer, I can't do anything about anyone's health, so having that information on full party frames out of the center of the screen is fine. As a healer, I need to actually be able to interact with the information about party members to target heals, which means I need actual party frames I can click on or target spells on, not just text. If you can give me a good reason why this would be remotely useful, and not just redundant, I may consider it, but as far as I can see, it's not something I will add.

Probably not. My view is that you're rarely focusing something because you need to monitor its health and power. You're generally focusing a mob to watch your crowd control, or focusing the main assist to know what to attack, or focusing the main tank for Misdirect macros. While focus text would be slightly more useful than party text, I still don't think it falls under the purvue of "critical information" that needs to be duplicated (as presumably you'll already have a full unit frame for your focus), so I am declining your request for now.

Great addon; do u think perhaps in the future u could include party health just with text - as in just their name and percentage?

Unfortunately the Ace2 libraries used by OnScreenHealth are no longer developed or really supported, and I'm pretty sure this is just another bug like the one that reports the current value of sub-groups as "None" despite them not being settings. OnScreenHealth was one of my earlier addons, and though I have a half-written Ace-free version, I have no idea when I will have time to finish it, test it, and release it. In the meantime, thanks for the info Suchutki; I'll add it to the description in case it helps others.

To everyone having problem with text format configuration - just turn off all of your addons leaving only osh running, log on to the game, configure what you want using /osh command and then just log out and reactivate all the stuff. Works fine for me and I've experienced problems while trying to configure osh included in acaciaizm minime ui.

I do not provide support for versions of my addons downloaded from anywhere other than the individual download pages I personally maintain. Though I have given the uploader of Acaciaizm MiniMe UI permission to include my addon, I do not have time to monitor it and other compilations to make sure that they're always include an unmodified copy of the current version of my addon.

Please completely remove OnScreenHealth from your addon folder and re-download it from this page. Then, log in with all addons except OnScreenHealth disabled, and try to change the setting through the command line as described several posts below yours.

I have downloaded a UI which uses your addon for the health. The UI is Acaciaizm MiniMe UI. This UI has the health as a % and I want to change it to the current HP. I got Niagara and I tryed to change it to $c:s but it is still shown as a %. What can I do to fix this?

Well, at this point, I don't really know what else to tell you, as it works as expected for me, and you're not getting any error messages that would explain why it apparently just ignores your input. Have you tried it with all other addons disabled? Have you tried deleting the OnScreenHealth saved variables file? Are you absolutely positively certainly sure that you're using the right setting and targetting the right type of thing? If you're using Niagara, are you hitting Enter after typing in the new format string?

That is correct. "/osh appearance textformat health" is a category, not a setting, so it does not have a value. There is a bug in AceConsole-2.0 that causes categories to show a "value" of "None", which is why you see that, but you need to keep drilling down to get to the individual settings.

If you're finding the slash command configuration too cumbersome, I highly recommend that you download and install the addon Niagara to provide a more comfortable GUI configuration.

I'm having the same problem as Niku. I tried putting in what you said and it says in my chat log that the monster info has been changed to $c:s ($p%), but when I target the mob, the health is still shown in percentage values. I've tried to /console reloadui and relogging but it doesn't work. I checked /osh appearance textformat and it says Health [None], Energy [None].

There is not currently any way use a separate format for pets than for other non-player units. Someday I will finish the "2.0" version I'm slowly working on, and a better text formatting system is on the to-do list, but I have no ETA on that.

To change non-player units' health to display the way you described:

/osh appearance textformat health monster $c:s ($p%)

If you use a addon like Niagara or DeuceCommander to provide a configuration GUI, you would look under Apperance > Text Format.

same problem - i would like all health to show in percent not digits. I just can not see in the on screen menu where you can change this from one to the other. Thanks!
