Hadar's Holy Hope Buttons

Hadar's Holy Hope Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

This is a remake of the original Holy Hope 3 mod. It has been completely remade from the ground up. Certain functionality has not been put back in such as the mount buttons and the Reckoning functionality. All the basics are there and working plus a few new buttons here and there. It is not localized to other languages other than English.

To access the settings window, type "/hhh"

Please note, this is a paladin only mod. Functionality with other classes is untested. Please disable it for your other non-paladin characters in the AddOns screen.

* Fleshed out the Spec circle a bit more.
* Update to the localization files.
* Fixed issue with the Redemption button on/off toggle.

* Added controls for the DPS circle in the options panel.
* Fixed issue with settings saving properly.

* Updated to work with WoW 3.0.2 patch.
* Added a "DPS" circle mainly aimed for a Retribution paladin to use. (Currently there are no controls for this in the options. Sorry if it gets in the way.)
* The center buttons of the DPS and Seal circles can be right clicked to cycle between the three Judgements (Light, Wisdom, Justice).

* Added in Russian localization.

ver. 1.23 (07-04-2008)
* Fixed problem with certain macro text as a button action. Certain macro text was being pared incorrectly.
* The format of HHH_CIRCLE_SPELL_BUTTONS inside Hadar_HolyHope_Spell_Defs.lua has changed slightly. If you made changes, please check your changes against the new format.

* Fixed issue with circles not scaling properly.

* Fixed the bug with Holy Shield and Repentance buttons casting the wrong spell.
* Added Key Bindings back in.

* Major revision of the code structure.
* Removed most of the custom artwork for the buttons as they are no longer necessary. This will make it easier to add spells in the future!
* Added Consecration button to the "Spec" circle.
* Fixed what I think has been a bug in the code for Seal of Blood and Seal of Command overlapping one another. (Sorry about that Horde pallys)
* Issues with window placement resetting itself to default should be resolved. If not, please let me know.
* A new file named "Hadar_HolyHope_Spell_Defs.lua" now holds the definitions for the spell buttons and their layout. If you wish to customize the layout of buttons, check into this file for some minor details. EDIT THIS FILE AT YOUR OWN RISK!

* Minor revision to fix an error on first load when the player doesn't have the Redemption spell.

ver. 1.1 (04-06-2008)
* Added French localization file.
* Right clicking the Blessings circle will now cast your Hearthstone as in the original version.

* Jumped to a new version number since I'm out of the "beta" phase.

You can switch between the regular and greater blessings by left-clicking on the center button of the Blessings circle.

Found the problem. It's in the way I am parsing some stuff. The macro text screws that parse up apparently. Working on fixing it so expect an update soon.

Actually i went back to the default and it is still not working for me. Did you change something in how righteous defense works in Holy Hope? Blizzard has added the macro into the game now. You don't need to create a righteous defense macro. It automatically will do target of target.

Can you send me a private message with the contents of your Spell Defs file? I'll take a look at it and see what you did.

Also, in the Localization-EN.lua file (or whichever localization file you actually use) there is a "HHH_MACRO_TABLE" table that has the macro I use by default for Righteous Defense. Might have to make sure you change that if you're using a macro, but I'll have to see your full changes to really tell you what's going on.

Now when I try to cast Righteous Defense it's not working quite right. It will cast if I have a player targeted. But if I have a mob targeted it will not do target of target. Is there something else I need to edit?

Oops, I just realized I had fixed this problem for my private code rather than the current public code. I'll double check once I get home later tonight and see if that really is the case. I'll publish that code at that point.

I too am experiencing custom settings not being saved. I thought I could just change the default settings for scaling to what I wanted (50%), but had no luck. Everytime I login the spheres are back at 100%. I love the addon but this is kind of a pain. Thanks for all your hard work!

Yes, I'm the same spec, already having Sanctuary, and sometimes it's there while other times it isn't. But yeah, I have noticed that when I train in a new spell it doesn't show up (until I re-log).

edit: OK, I changed the ; to a , I'll let you know what results I get.

Hmm, not entirely sure. It "might" be caused by a mistake I just found in the Hadar_HolyHope_SpellDefs.lua file on line 24. At the very end it a ; (semicolon) instead of a , (comma). Try changing that and see if it resolves the issue. This might not be the case since it shows up sometimes, though.

It'd be easy to do, really. Open up the Localization-EN.lua (or which ever localization you are) and look through the HHH_SPELL_TABLE. Change the Consecration line to:

consecration = "Concestration(Rank 1)"

There is also an HHH_MACRO_TABLE in there. Right now, only Righteous Defense has a macro (which it uses in the mod) associated with it. Just change the macro to whatever you want.

That's it.
