LilSparky's Workshop   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
LilSparky's Workshop adds auction-derived pricing information for trade skills right into the trade skill recipe frame. Each skill is evaluated for material costs and potential value of the item created. These two numbers are listed next to each skill in an easy-to-read format.

Supported Auction Scanners:

* Auctioneer
* AuctionLite
* AuctionMaster
* Auctionator

Supported Vendor Databases:

* Informant
* "GetSellValue" compliant mods (SellFish, ItemPriceTooltip, Valuation, ItemDataCache, plus many others)

Optionally Requires:

* LibPeriodicTable (to identify items that are sold by vendors)

Trade Skill Interfaces Supported:

* AdvancedTradeSkillWindow
* Skillet (trunk and "lilsparky" version)
* Blizzard's Standard UI
* Doublewide Tradeskills
* Tradeskill HD

Auction pricing models can be selected by right-clicking either the value column or the cost column (each can have a different pricing method attached).

The Value column can be left clicked to cycle through the different valuation methods for the resultant item: Auction Value (a), Vendor Value (v), Disenchant Value (d) or the greatest of the three different values (the default). Any instance of an item Value being greater than the Cost to create it will have a highlighted Value entry. Optionally, the Value column can be displayed as a percentage of the Cost column.

The Cost column simply sums up the costs for each reagent and reports the total.

Both columns can be combined into a single "Profit" column which simply reflects the Value minus the Cost.

Tooltips for each column give more details about the price breakdowns LSW is considering.

Do you have a thread here somewhere for the version of Skillet that you did?
yeah, there's a new auctionmaster api. i'll get a new lsw version up soon.

no, the skillet here is the standard skillet. once i take it over properly, i'll be sure to update here as well.

it was only a matter of time... the only thing i can think, would be to have some hard-coded alternate views. right now, there's the "profit" view which combines bother columns. i could have a hard-coded "auction" view which puts up the inventory counts and value (or possibly an option for value or profit)...

that's probably the only realistic way of having anything happen anytime soon. i'll look into how it might fit the scheme of things.

You need both Auctioneer (with Auc-Stat-WowEcon) and WowEcon itself to get it to work.

there's a wowecon module inside of auctioneer, but i've never really been a user of wowecon so i dunno how well it works if at all. presumably if you have the data, the auctioneer module would provide the connection you need.

i can look at a more direct path, tho, if you don't use auctioneer.

When only Altoholic is loaded, it shocks early at the end or immediately after first craft of the series. Not enjoyable, but neither it's deadly.
With Altoholic+LSW it stutters every once right AFTER craft, when item appears in the bags.
RecipeRadar (the only other addon i could think about, that would have an impact on tradeskill window) was disabled.
In tests, it was both grey and colored craft with skillups.

Could it be that LSW in fact doing bag rescans in a bad fashion?
lsw doesn't do any bag scanning, it simply uses the blizzard api -- "GetItemCount()" (which is why it doesn't know about alts or guild banks).

What's that stuff that appears when I hold down alt?

I realize this might actually be more of an issue with ATSW, but you mentioned having a beta that fixes the issue?

i have a new beta that fixes this, but i want to make sure it's a little more stable before uploading it here.

I also noticed that, on Enchanting, it brilliantly gives the info for Scroll of Enchant Whatever, which is awesome -- but when you hit alt over value to see the total_seen(last_seen) numbers, you get 0(0), presumably because it's looking for just Enchant Whatever. The cost tooltip, though, gives the total count for Scroll Of, though not the current. I don't know if this is part of the other issues I'm having, or a small oversight, or possibly would somehow break something else if the value column's report was changed. If it's the last one, though, it would be great if the cost tooltip at least could give the current number posted as well as the total seen. The column itself would be favourite, though!
something seems to have broken somewhere. those #'s used to be accurate, but it appears to not be the case anymore. i'm investigating the problem because the intention is to not see 0's. you should at least see the same # that's in the tooltip and the tooltip's should be accurate.
