Ya I just downloaded SimpleCoords and when I tried to extract it I got a message that the folder was empty

Thanks a lot! I was already thinking about deleting the file cos I thought it wasn't working...

Just thought I should mention. I downloaded the new 5.0.4 version. But it is sort of bugged. When unraring the file you just get a self titled file with no extension instead of an addon folder.

I opened that titled file again with Winrar and found that it was the archive for the addon, but without the proper file extension. Essentially, when you download this mod, you get a zipped file, that contained a file inside of it with no extension thats ALSO a zip file. Inside of that second zipped file is the actual addon.

We gotta go deeper!

Tried to implement this today; followed insructions, and added folder to WoW addon folder. Nothing happened when I started WoW. Any help appreciated.

I fixed it, hopefully not breaking other stuff. I'm not a programer!

I have found a post sayig that other mapping software is also having problems because of a library called "Astrolabe" which breaks with 3.1.

Here is what I did:

Download "gatherer" 3.13 (latest). look for Astrolabe directory. Copied Astrolabe directory to SimpleCoords directory, replacing its older version of Astrolabe.
No more Lua errors and it works like a charm.

Perhaps the author can verify that this works fine for everybody and doesn't break their system.
Try it on your own risk. I can't help if it doesn't work for you.
